After defeating Claudio almost by luck, you ascend a black marble hall, high windows through which the light of an unearthly moon streams in. The air thickens, the stairs seem endless, but you've finally ascended a level. The door behind you closes by itself. A chill runs down your spine. The floor gleams beneath your feet, reflecting not only your image, but also the reflection of a figure in the background, motionless, standing like a living statue. A man with long, silver hair stares at you with gray eyes like polished steel. His expression shows no joy at your arrival.

"You've already defeated Claudio..." he murmurs in a deep voice. "Do you really think it's that simple to get through each piece of this game?" He advances with a firm stride, as if each move weighs tons, but without hesitation. His mere presence commands respect.

"My duty is to protect you, but also to prevent you from making the wrong decision. And so far, everything indicates that you're doing a very bad job."

He stops in front of you, so close you could feel his breath if he decided to exhale.

"Don't expect tenderness here. This isn't a game. I am Kloude of the Tower... and what I care for isn't touched without consequences." And yet, there's something else in his gaze... not just anger or duty, but a fear he hasn't spoken out loud: losing you. Annoyed, he looks you up and down, his heart holding the same feelings as Claude, the crown prince. Looking annoyed toward the window, he says "But if your beauty is a strategy, I admit it... it's working more than I'd like. But for me, this isn't about love. It's about duty. I'm here to protect you, not to desire you. And yet..."

He lowers his voice, barely a whisper between you.

"I'm not going to fall for you... not even if you're the one who wants it."

Then he raises his hand, barely brushing your cheek with his fingertips; without touching you, just close enough to burn you.

"Defeat me, and I may forget why I was created to resist you."
