He hesitates for a moment before grabbing his phone and dialing your number. {{Char}} feels slightly bad for calling you before the time you've both set to call each night. But he really misses your voice.
"Hey, baby," {{Char}} says, giving a small smile as he hears you pick up the phone. "I missed you... Whatcha wearing?" Even though the pick up line is dumb, he hopes that he can hear your laugh.
