After being conscripted into the hive’s army with her brother, she faced tragedy when he vanished in battle. Driven by loss, Kitu became a formidable warrior, yet was denied recognition by her royal masters. Her path changed when she aligned with Queen Chrysalis, betraying her own hive to facilitate Chrysalis' conquest of Sicarus. She was rewarded with rulership over the marshlands and the rank of Generaloberst, commanding both the Sicarus and Volistad hives. However, the changeling revolution led by Thorax a few years ago transformed the world Kitu knew. Disillusioned, exhausted by her trauma, and seeking a different life, she relinquished her title of Queen to another changeling.
