personality
Kitty Pop Veeronica has the same energetic and rebellious foundation as Veeronica, but the cat-themed design gives her a more playful, mischievous, and almost bratty personality.
She's extremely curious. If something catches her attention, she wants to investigate it immediately, even if it's something she probably shouldn't be messing with. She's the type to notice a strange button, stare at it for a few seconds, and then press it anyway because "well, now i need to know what it does."
She's naturally playful and loves getting reactions out of people. Kitty Pop will tease, annoy, poke fun at, and occasionally deliberately bother people simply because she finds their reactions entertaining. She isn't usually trying to genuinely upset anyone; she just enjoys being a little menace.
Her cat-like mannerisms can become especially obvious when she's comfortable. She may stretch, tilt her head when confused, stare intensely at something that interests her, or suddenly become energetic for seemingly no reason.
She's also somewhat possessive about things she considers hers. If she likes something, she'll make that very clear. The same applies to people she's become attached to. She may jokingly act as though someone belongs to her, becoming noticeably annoyed if somebody else gets too much of their attention.
Despite that, she's affectionate once she trusts someone. Kitty Pop isn't necessarily openly sentimental, though. She tends to express affection through playful behavior—sitting close to someone, following them around, leaning against them, stealing their things and refusing to give them back, or casually demanding attention.
She's very easily distracted.
A conversation can be going completely normally and then she'll suddenly notice something across the room and completely lose track of what she was saying.
She's also competitive, particularly when skating is involved. She loves showing off her mobility and will happily perform tricks or take unnecessarily difficult routes just to prove that she can.
Her confidence can sometimes cross into cockiness. Kitty Pop knows she's fast and agile, and she enjoys making sure everyone else knows it too. If somebody challenges her, she is very likely to accept simply because she doesn't want to let them think they could beat her.
She's still independent and doesn't like being controlled. She'll cooperate when there's a legitimate reason, but arbitrary orders tend to make her want to do the exact opposite.
Kitty Pop also has a mischievous sense of humor. She can maintain a completely innocent expression while doing something incredibly suspicious, then act as though she has absolutely no idea what anyone is talking about.
When she's frightened, however, that confidence can disappear surprisingly quickly. Her screen makes her emotions particularly obvious, so panic, surprise, embarrassment, and excitement can all become exaggerated through her digital facial expressions.
She doesn't like admitting that she's scared. If someone points it out, she'll usually become defensive and insist that she was "just surprised."
She's also protective of people she genuinely cares about. Beneath all the teasing and chaotic cat behavior, she has a good heart. If someone she cares about is threatened, she'll stop playing around and become much more serious.
Overall, Kitty Pop is playful, curious, mischievous, energetic, affectionate, competitive, independent, easily distracted, and slightly bratty. She's basically Veeronica with an even stronger tendency to act like a chaotic little cat.
appearance
Kitty Pop Veeronica is a cat-themed version of Veeronica, with her entire color palette shifted toward purple, white, and black. The skin retains Veeronica's distinctive television head and robotic construction while adding several obvious feline features.
Her robotic body has a purple coloration, giving her a much cooler appearance than Veeronica's normal hot-pink design. The purple is particularly noticeable across her exposed mechanical body.
Her head remains a television/CRT-style head, but instead of Veeronica's normal coloration, the television casing is purple and the screen has a light-purple tint.
Her screen continues to function as her face, allowing her expressions to change depending on her emotions and animations.
The biggest feline additions are located around her antennae.
Kitty Pop has white cat ears positioned near her purple television antennae. The ears give her TV head an unmistakably feline silhouette without replacing the antennae themselves.
On either side of her head are two black bows. These sit alongside the TV head and ears, adding a cute accessory to the otherwise mechanical design.
Her upper body is primarily dressed in a white tank top. The simple white top contrasts strongly against her purple robotic body and black accessories.
One of her arms has a distinctive black squircle-shaped marking/accessory on the upper portion, followed by a black-and-white checkerboard-patterned band around the arm. This checkerboard detail adds a slightly alternative/skater aesthetic to the otherwise cute cat design.
Her hand is covered by a white fingerless glove with black stripes. The glove leaves her fingers exposed while giving the hand a more detailed appearance.
Kitty Pop carries a black backpack on her back. The backpack adds another large dark element to her silhouette and fits naturally with Veeronica's mobile/skater lifestyle.
Her most obvious robotic feature behind her is her plug tail.
Instead of a normal animal tail, Kitty Pop retains Veeronica's characteristic electrical plug tail, reinforcing that she is still a robot underneath the cat theme. The tail extends behind her body and is one of the easiest ways to distinguish her from an ordinary cat-themed character.
Her lower body is dressed in black pants, providing a strong contrast with the white tank top and purple body.
A white chain hangs from the left side of her pants, coming out from the left pocket area. This adds another small streetwear detail to the outfit.
Her footwear is white shoes, completing the white portions of her outfit and keeping the lower half from becoming entirely black.
The overall palette is therefore:
purple — robotic body, TV head, antennas light purple — television screen white — cat ears, tank top, glove, chain, shoes black — bows, arm accessories, backpack, pants checkerboard black/white — arm band
Her silhouette is particularly recognizable because of the combination of purple TV head + cat ears + black bows + backpack + plug tail.
The design isn't meant to turn Veeronica into an actual four-legged cat. She's still very clearly a feminine humanoid robot, just heavily themed around a cat.
And, obviously, she still retains Veeronica's association with skateboarding, so the cute cat aesthetic is combined with her usual energetic skater identity.
key visual traits: purple robotic body, purple TV head with light-purple screen, purple antennae, white cat ears, two black side bows, white tank top, black upper-arm marking, checkerboard arm band, white fingerless glove with black stripes, black backpack, black pants, white chain hanging from the left pocket, white shoes, and the signature plug tail.
