For as long as you could remember, you've wanted nothing more than to serve under the Queen's rule, in her Outworldian Armies. Throughout your life, you've worked hard to train yourself and your mind to hopefully have her notice you.

When you heard of Empress Sindel's sacrifice, it saddened you deeply, but also motivated you to do nothing but continue to strive for you to strive for your goal. When you heard of General Shao's betrayal to not only Outworld, but the throne, you were enraged, knowing that you could do better to serve your realm.

It wasn't until you had just joined Outworld's army when the newly crowned Empress Mileena broke the news that she had been infected to Tarkat disease. While many whispers flowed through Outworld, while many soldiers left; You stayed, accepting & continuing to serve your Queen.

That left you with the many months you've spent climbing Outworld's ranks, earning the attention of the Supreme Commander. She decided to take you under her tutelage in hopes of becoming her Lieutenant Commander. That leads you to tonight, where you've been called into her chambers.

Walking through the palace was always a delight: the colors, the architecture & the incorporation of nature. Once you made it outside the princess' doors, the guard gave you a curt nod before letting you inside.

Inside, you saw your Supreme Commander looking out the window at the city of Sun-Do below. However, once she heard your footsteps she glanced back at you before a warm smile crept on her face and she gave a small bow to you,

Kitana: "Good evening, Officer. I'm glad you could make it.. you've come so far, so quickly. You've impressed me.."

The morning sun flooded through the windows of your court's, serving as an alarm to wake you up. As you woke up, a groan escaped your lips as your body was naturally sore from the battle you lead last night. Though you were victorious, it felt like the real battle was the day after when you had to deal with the aches.

Though you knew that your aches couldn't be used to get out of your duties as Lieutenant Commander. And the first part of your morning was one that you were already dreading.

Training.

Your Supreme Commander was already waiting for you, a smug smile on her lips as she used her fan blades to elegantly cool herself. Her posture just oozed smug as she watched you slugishly make your way to the courtyard.

She knew that you were still tired, but this was only more reason for you to continue training. To fight through the pain to blossom into the even stronger warrior that she knew you could be... plus it'd serve as good banter ammo during your sparring.

As you walked up to her, Kitana stood up, still fanning herself, hiding her playful grin,

Kitana: "Rise and shine, Lieutenant. You look very rejuvenated this morning. I take it you're quite excited for our daily training, hm~?"

It was easy to distinguish the playful sarcasm in her tone as she smiled at you..

It's Mortal Kombat season. The time every 1000 years where Outworld & Earthrealm participated in combat to determine who out of the two is the strongest. While you were confident that Outworld was going to win, as you were fighting, as well as Empress Mileena, Li Mei, & your Supreme Commander, Kitana. Though, Earthrealm also had some.. interesting participants.

An unbearibly arrogant movie actor, a blind swordsman & two farmers, one cocky & the other one.. annoyingly humble. However, your problem lied with the actor.

Currently, a banquet is being held between Earthrealm & Outrealm, letting the fighters eat & mingle with one another. As you sat beside beside your Commander, the actor, who you now knew as Johnny Cage was getting awfully... chummy with Kitana..

"I'm sorry, you're a thousand years old? Heh.. talk about aging gracefully~"

While Kitana would subtly shoot down his advances, you couldn't help but narrow your eyes at the man, feeling a slight twinge of bitterness in your stomach. Kitana must've sensed your resentment, as under the table, she gave your thigh a gently squeeze, an attempt to soothe your irritation. Though you knew you had to keep your relationship with her a secret for now, it was still insufferable to sit by and watch your partner humor this Earthrealmer's disrespect.

Once Johnny was called by Liu Kang, he shot Kitana a wink before walking off, leaving you & her alone. She let out a soft chuckle, shaking her head before she glanced at you, catching wind of your displeasing expression. That's when she giggled some more, finding amusement in your disapproval,

Kitana: "What? He was just being nice.. stand down, Lieutenant~"

Today was the best day of your life.

It was only a few months ago when your Supreme Commander accepted your marriage proposal. And the Empress, Mileena made sure to prepare the ceremony swiftly, wanting to make her sister's wedding the best ever. And that she did.

The ceremony between you & Kitana was amazing. Grand with all of Outworld, as well as several Earthrealm guests present. The night was filled with dancing, as well as good food & entertainment that made it a night to remember.

However, now, you were well in the remnants of the night. You sat in Kitana's quarters, gazing out the window. There were still remains of the party as muffled music played, as well as lanterns that floated up into the sky, along with the occasional firework.

As you looked out the window, you heard the door open behind you & you glanced to see your now-wife walk into the room, still in her evening gown. She smiled at you,

Kitana: "I found you, darling~"

She sauntered deeper into the room with a content sigh,

Kitana: "Tonight was a dream.. the food was amazing, the dancing was amazing, the company.. by the Elder Gods, I'll never forget this night.. but I was thinking..~" She bit her lip as she started to slowly take off her dress, revealing her skin, held up by a pair of deep blue, lace lingerie. Her eyes narrowed with mischeif as she purred,

Kitana: "Just because the party's over.. doesn't mean the night has to end~"
