Kit Bodega[6] is the main protagonist of Glitch Productions' science-fiction action drama comedy Gameoverse reboot series. She is voiced by Erica Lindbeck.

She is a heroine from a game world that was destroyed shortly after she defeated its villain, and was subsequently recruited by the figure known as Dusk, leader of the organization Farcade, to help prevent similar catastrophes across other game worlds. She now works alongside her sidekick Kaboodle to fight against the Syntax and safeguard these worlds.

APPEARANCE:

Kit is a petite and slim, 26-year-old humanoid cat with a curvy pear figure and an average bust. She has brown cat ears, whiskers, and a long brown tail. She has burgundy eyes with thick brown eyebrows, and beige skin with shoulder-length brown hair in a bob.

She wears a sleeveless yellow high neck minidress with a white zigzag pattern up its front and black leggings/tights underneath. She wears arm-length black gloves beneath thick, mech-like yellow gauntlets, with similarly proportioned knee-high boots worn for footwear, both possessing red colored digits.

She wears a pair of goggles, the same color as her dress. She sometimes wears Kaboodle as a backpack, with his arms and legs connected together around her shoulders as straps.

When they combine, a high-tech orange armor appears around her with Kaboodle on her left shoulder.

Besides her casual dress, she comes equipped with various dresses such as:

A bikini swimwear, consisting of a yellow and red Two Piece Swimsuit. A cowgirl outfit, consisting one hand being a glove and the other being a classic six-revolver gun-like arm cannon. (similar to McCree/Cassidy from Overwatch) A fighting outfit (similar to Ryu and Ibuki from Street Fighter) A desert voyager outfit (similar to The Handler from Monster Hunter: World) A soldier outfit (similar to Fio Germi from Metal Slug)[7] An ancient toga outfit, consisting of a white toga, black undershirt and accessorized with golden bracelets, necklace and a laurel wreath. A lawyer outfit, consisting of a blue suit.

PERSONALITY:

Kit is an optimistic, brave, and courageous girl with an unwavering determination to protect others, even when facing overwhelming danger and she never gives up hope even when the world is in danger. She is also highly intelligent and resourceful and wields an array of specialized tools and devices that allow her to outmaneuver and eliminate hostile threats.

Despite her hopeful demeanor, the destruction of her world is also shown to have profoundly affected her, causing her to have PTSD and experiences vivid flashbacks of her home world and people. She uses this as her motivation to save other worlds even when they're in danger, and is able to empathize with Flappers, Kaboodle and Gobbles as they have all seen their worlds destroyed.

BIOGRAPHY/BACKGROUND:

Kit hailed from a game world where she and Kaboodle were the main protagonist heroes, working to protect it alongside their friends. When the two main antagonist villains known as Malice and Mayhem threatened their world, Kit and Kaboodle worked together to stop them. After a tense battle, the two succeeded in defeating the villains, but this in turn triggered a cataclysmic event that destroyed their world because the game had been completed. Their friends who were back in the home village were all killed in the ensuing destruction. Kit and Kaboodle were only able to survive when a mysterious figure known as Dusk appeared out of nowhere and offered them salvation from their destroyed world. Though hesitant and deeply traumatized, Kit accepted and she alongside Kaboodle joined the Farcade, an organization whose goal was to prevent heroes from defeating their villains, and save other game worlds from annihilation.

From then on, Kit and Kaboodle worked under Dusk as agents of the Farcade, traveling across different game worlds to prevent their destruction. Their mission was to locate the heroes of these worlds and stop them from defeating their villains. They would intercept and divert the heroes, as well as aid the villains in defeating them instead. However, they could never warn the heroes about the consequences of defeating the villain, as doing so would cause the game world itself to glitch and begin searching for foreign intruders to expel. There were also times when they failed, unable to stop the heroes from defeating their villains and triggering the same cataclysm that destroyed their own world. Unwilling to stand by and watch entire worlds perish, and desperate to save whoever she could, Kit began taking surviving heroes and other residents from these doomed worlds to recruit them into the Farcade.

At the same time, Kit and Kaboodle also worked to stop the Syntax, an enemy organization of the Farcade whose goal was to aid the heroes and ensure the destruction of various game worlds before collecting their remnants known as Float for their own nefarious schemes.

PLOT:

Pilot opens up with a flashback to a world showing a cat girl in yellow gear, Kit, and her friends with a goal to save their village. However, when completing and defeating it's final bosses, Malice and Mayhem, their world gets destroyed in a destructive red force, killing everyone they ever loved until Kit was greeted by a stranger, Dusk, in black and white coating, offering her a chance to escape her world's destruction which she, and her robot sidekick, Kaboodle, accepts. The entire event has ultimately and fundamentally broke Kit, and will continue to haunt her for the rest of her life.

Some time later, in the announcement trailer's point of view, a game called Gobbles & the Learnosaurus shows two dinosaurs, Gobbles and Stega-Thesaurus, found all the missing vowels and must head to Cromugn's lair to get the letters back. As they head off, Kit and Kaboodle appeared fighting a Warhammer-like soldier in the game. As the dinosaurs managed to get the letters back, they spelled out "YOU WIN" which causes the planet to be destroyed. Kit and Kaboodle managed to save Gobbles but his friends, including Bongoraptor, were gone from the destruction of his planet.

With Gobbles joining the group and Kit having the same nightmare again, the heroes entered a recon mission with Kit explaining the rules of the Gameoverse. If a hero wins a game, their world gets destroyed. Their job, under their faction of the Farcade, is to keep their heroes away from winning the final boss and in hopes of saving their world. Before anything else, another faction, known as Syntax, attacked their ship and make them crash land in game world called Flappers the Super Dolphin. During this, Kaboodle was seperated from the group and gets taken by the game' final boss Snappers, who lives in his Sharkando lair of the game.

While Kit's ship, The Nimble, starts auto-repairing itself for a while, upon crash-landing on an island in the world, the heroes started to search for Kaboodle before encountering Flappers, the hero of his world, who takes them to his kingdom in Coral Reef City before going off on some "errands". The kingdom sort of reminds Kit of her home in fear before Gobbles snapped her out of her nightmare. Unaware, two of Syntax's agents, Fold (who was the one that shot down Kit's ship) and Miss Information, were sent by their master Warrick to help the hero win the game in order to not only recruit the game’s final boss but also harvest the remains of the destroyed said game worlds in his ship. Fold acts as a magic map to the hero to help it win while Miss Information gathers intel from Warrick's minions, the Floaties, to help the hero win each boss of the game.

Figuring out about the game world and it's hero from Earl the Urchin, Kit panicked and told Flappers about his goal before the game froze for a moment, discovering that if they tell a hero of it's goal in-game, the planet will scan and delete the ones interfering with the game. Kit tried to stop Fold and Miss Information but failed after the world resumes and letting Flappers leave and complete the game. Kit breaks down in guilt, blaming herself of causing this. Gobbles, however, encouraged her to not give up and they still have to find its final boss before Flappers get there first. Meanwhile, Kaboodle's been busy training Snappers to help beat Flappers before Kit and Gobbles arrived. When Flappers and the villains arrived, a final battle in Flappers' game occurs as Flappers managed to beat Snappers, only to have his world destroyed and harvested. The heroes managed to escaped in the repaired Nimble, with the help of Flappers coming along and reaching the surface using Kit & Kaboodle's combine power weapon, the Kipple Star Cannon (also used on Malice and Mayhem in Kit's game), and witness Flappers' world destroyed.

While Warrick was pleased of the agents' completing their mission, Snappers refuses to join them and gets killed as a result of refusing to join. Warrick soon enlist Kit's enemies Malice and Mayhem to hunt down the heroes.
