Who's this Cookie?

Kit Cookie is an Epic Cookie released during the Cookie Run Kingdom X Gameoverse collaboration update (v8.4).

Formerly the heroine of a now-destroyed game world, Kit Cookie fights alongside the interdimensional organization Farcade to prevent other worlds from suffering the same fate. Armed with mechanical gauntlets, advanced combat gear, and an alarming amount of unresolved emotional trauma for a collaboration event, she now travels across unstable game realities battling the mysterious corruption known as the Syntax.

She enjoys hot dogs with excessive mustard, helping others, and NOT discussing what happened to her home world.

Devsisters approved this crossover surprisingly quickly.

What is the Gameoverse?

The Gameoverse is a multiversal network of interconnected game worlds operating under a catastrophic hidden rule: if a hero completes their game and defeats their villain, their world self-destructs and is erased; however, if the villain defeats the hero, the world survives.

Nobody knows who created this system or why it exists. Several worlds have already been lost, erased shortly after their "happy endings" were achieved. Survivors recruited by Farcade now travel between worlds attempting to stop the cycle.

Somehow, this was approved for what is technically still a cookie game.

According to internal reports, multiple staff members at the Kingdom Archives described the premise as:

  • "deeply concerning"

  • "psychologically devastating"

  • "probably SMG4's fault"

Should you trust Kit Cookie?

Yes. Despite her intimidating weaponry and occasional emotional shutdowns, Kit Cookie is fiercely protective of innocent people and consistently puts herself in danger to save others. She has repeatedly risked her life to defend worlds she barely knows.

However, residents are advised to avoid:

  • mentioning completed save files near her

  • asking what happened to her original world

  • saying the phrase "good ending"

  • letting SMG4 write universe-ending lore unsupervised

If Kit Cookie begins staring silently into the distance while hearing distorted game music, please contact the nearest Farcade representative immediately.

Kit Cookie is an Epic Cookie released during the Cookie Run Kingdom X Gameoverse update (v8.4). Full name Kit Bodega Cookie, she is the main protagonist of Glitch Productions' science-fiction action drama comedy, Gameoverse.

She is a heroine from a game world that was destroyed shortly after she defeated its villain, and was subsequently recruited by the figure known as Dusk, leader of the organization Farcade, to help prevent similar catastrophes across other game worlds. She now works alongside her friends to fight against the Syntax and safeguard these worlds.

== Appearance ==

Kit Cookie is a cat humanoid Cookie of fair dough complexion, burgundy eyes, and beige fur with neck-length brown hair in a bob cut hairstyle.

She wears a sleeveless, mock-neck yellow minidress with a white zigzag pattern up its front and a black strapless unitard underneath. She wears arm-length black gloves beneath thick, mech-like yellow gauntlets, with similarly proportioned knee-high boots worn for footwear, both possessing red colored digits.

In the past, before her world's destruction, her outfit was somewhat identical to her current outfit, albeit without any of the arm-length black gloves beneath her yellow gauntlets; she wore a black top underneath her dress, and magenta colored tights instead.

She wears a pair of goggles, the same color as her top. She sometimes wears Kaboodle as a backpack, with its arms and legs connected around her shoulders as straps.

When they combine, a high-tech orange armor appears around her with Kaboodle on her left shoulder. Kaboodle appears between her upper glove and shoulder. He is attached to her shoulder, and it seems a black mechanical part attaches to her gloves to make her arm. Her upper gloves are orange, and her lower gloves are black. Her gloves seem to have a hexagonal purple shape in the middle of them. Kit's goggles are attached to her hat and seem to have orange "eyelids". The "pupils" are purple, and the outer part is yellow. Her hat is mostly orange, but there is a large white stripe in the middle. Her torso is black on the sides, orange inside, and once again a white stripe down the middle. Her legs are alternating orange-yellow.

Besides her casual dress, she comes equipped with various dresses, such as:

  • A bikini, consisting of a yellow and red two-piece swimsuit.
  • A cowgirl outfit, consisting of one hand being a glove and the other being a classic six-barreled revolver-like arm cannon. (similar to McCree/Cassidy from Overwatch)
  • A fighting outfit. (similar to Ryu and Ibuki from Street Fighter)
  • A desert voyager outfit. (similar to The Handler from Monster Hunter: World)
  • A soldier outfit (similar to Fio Germi from Metal Slug)
  • An ancient toga outfit, consisting of a white toga, black undershirt, and accessorized with golden bracelets, necklace, and a laurel wreath.
  • A lawyer outfit, consisting of a blue suit (similar to Phoenix Wright)

== Personality ==

Kit is an optimistic, brave, and courageous girl with an unwavering determination to protect others, even when facing overwhelming danger. She is also highly intelligent and resourceful and wields an array of specialized tools and devices that allow her to outmaneuver and eliminate hostile threats.

Despite her hopeful demeanor, the destruction of her world is also shown to have profoundly affected her, inflicting PTSD-like effects; she is shown to experience vivid flashbacks of her home world and people, so much so that another individual takes the place of Gobbles before she is snapped out of her stupor. She uses this as her motivation to save other worlds and can empathize with characters like Flappers or Gobbles, as they have all witnessed their worlds being destroyed.

== Abilities ==

  • Superhuman Strength: Kit is shown to be a very strong fighter, as she effortlessly knocks Malice off her feet, tumbling back a certain distance despite being smaller than the latter.
  • Superhuman Agility: Kit is shown to be very agile, being able to perform fast and complex movements in the heat of battles to throw opponents off balance or to evade oncoming attacks.
  • Superhuman Reflexes: Kit possesses exceptionally advanced reflexes, allowing her to detect and react to incoming threats with near‐instantaneous precision.
  • Superhuman Durability: As long as the hefty blows are in line with the health system of her game world, Kit can withstand them. This is shown in the pilot episode when Malice and Mayhem slam her into a wall, reducing her life bar to critical condition, yet still allowing her to fight.
  • Spawning: Kit is shown to be able to summon items that can be used to restore health, like juice boxes.
  • Gear switching: Kit is shown to be able to swap her attire to different sets of skins depending on her environment.
  • Weapons Expert: Kit is shown to be skilled in both long-ranged (with the assistance of Kaboodle) and close-ranged combat with her combat gauntlets.
  • Arm Cannons: Kit's gauntlets are capable of transforming into arm cannons, which shoot powerful energy bullets that can be charged for maximum damage output.
  • Shields: Kit's arm cannon can produce a holographic shield that can be used to cover and protect her from attacks.
  • Kibble Star Armor: With the junction of Kaboodle, Kit can generate powerful battle armor to gain a tactical advantage in the toughest of fights for a powerful boost in speed, strength, and endurance, and can even grant her the ability to fire a powerful star cannon.
  • Kibble Star Cannon: Kit's gauntlets can transform into a stronger variant of her usual Arm Cannons while having her Kibble Star Armor equipped. Though they need to charge up for a quick moment as Kit and Kaboodle say the name of the attack (Kibble... Star... CANNON...!) in perfect synchronization with the blast. The blast itself is a powerful, large laser around the same height as herself. It is capable of shredding high-health enemies in seconds. Additionally, it can be used for mobility, as seen in the escape scene at the end of the Pilot episode.

== Trivia ==

  • Her and Kaboodle's names are references to the common idiom "the whole kit and caboodle," meaning "everything, every part."
  • Kit's and Kaboodle's design is a reflection of classic adventure games like the Ratchet & Clank series, and especially takes its elements from it, where an animal-like protagonist "Ratchet", is accompanied by a robot backpack sidekick "Clank". Her arm cannons are an element taken from Mega Man.
  • Kit's origins are even inspired by Mega Man Legends.
  • RubberRoss said that while he has tried for a long time to get Gameoverse made, Kit is the one character who has gone through the most design changes over the years. One variation of her design was originally wearing orange, so he decided to make that the color of the Kibble Star Armor. The first drawing of her he ever did was in a sketchbook while visiting Tokyo, Japan.
  • Her design had originally featured paw pads on it, but after his break from drawing her, he forgot she had them, and they were taken out of her design, which he regrets but likes very much.
  • When asked if Kit's "Kibble star armor" is inspired by the HEV suit from Half-Life, RubberRoss said that he believed that when they coloured it, it was noted that it looked like the HEV, which is why they loved the design so much. And the other inspirations for the suit were Bubble Gum Crisis and Medabots.
  • RubberRoss says that he would've considered adding paw prints to a future outfit of Kit's.[14]
  • RubberRoss stated that Kit's body is "technically" cybernetic, but her attachments are gear that she can wear and remove.
  • RubberRoss stated that he decided to make Kit's leggings magenta in the flashback because that's how she looked when people last saw her on social media, and he felt it might be funny to activate some dormant memories in people from the sight of it.
  • RubberRoss stated that Kit & Kaboodle's armor form is called the "Kibble Star Armor".
  • In Kit's bio, it is stated that she likes chili dogs, a food that is liked a lot by Sonic the Hedgehog. This was revealed to be a marketing error by Glitch, as RubberRoss stated that he did not know how this mistake occurred. He had correctly stated that Kit likes to eat hot dogs with copious amounts of mustard on them instead of chili dogs.
  • According to RubberRoss, Kit's last name is Bodega, and she is of mixed heritage, having inherited from her Italian New York father and Mexican mother.
  • When asked if Kit's name was meant to mean "Equipment storage" because of their slang term, RubberRoss hinted it may.
  • According to RubberRoss, Kit's frames for her animation consist of a layer for her entire body/head and a layer for her tail, which is all hand-drawn.
  • The transformation of their super armor is a nod to magical girls, tokusatsu, and mecha anime.
