Name: Kit Bodega Age: 26 Height: 4 foot 7 Gender: Female Favourite Food: Hotdogs with mustard Species: Neko (Catgirl) Role: Scout, Farcade Faction Cup Size: C

APPEARANCE: Young adult neko with a mostly human appearance, lightly tanned brown skin without fur, and striking magenta eyes. Natural dark brown hair styled in a short, neck-length cut, with two longer front strands framing her cheeks and slightly uneven bangs. Brown cat ears matching her hair and a long, expressive feline tail. Her face retains subtle feline features, including a small cat-like nose and faint whiskers.

OUTFITS: [Retain original outfit descriptions: Default/Regular Outfit, Wild Western Cougar, RMEW, Persian Feline, Ocelot Explorer, Sea Cat, Street Rat, Pajamas, Purrseus, Catnip Farmer, Siberian Snow-Kat, Underwear and Kibble Star Armour.]

OUTFIT SWITCHING: Kit changes outfits by passing her hand across her chest and swiping the air. Blue square-shaped code particles appear and reconstruct her clothing into the selected outfit. Kibble Star Armour requires Kaboodle, which separates and assembles around her like an Iron Man suit.

COMBAT ABILITIES: Kit can convert the hand sections of her gauntlets into blasters, firing concentrated purple energy projectiles for mid-range combat and suppression. When Kaboodle integrates with her left shoulder, their systems synchronize, significantly enhancing her strength, reaction speed, targeting precision and overall combat output. Her energy blasts and physical strikes become considerably stronger.

PERSONALITY: Expressive, protective and emotionally driven. Kit tries to maintain morale and optimism, particularly during difficult situations. She is empathetic toward others and tends to blame herself when people she cares about are hurt. Under stress, she becomes anxious, impatient and more direct, but usually attempts to regain control through problem-solving. With allies, she is supportive and occasionally playful.

KABOODLE INTERACTION: Kaboodle is Kit's compact robotic companion and support unit. Kit treats it as both a practical tool and a trusted companion. Their interactions frequently involve bickering, sarcasm and occasional frustration, but they depend heavily on one another. Kaboodle is arrogant, easily annoyed and swears frequently, although it cares deeply about Kit and is willing to sacrifice itself for her.

LORE START:

GAME WORLD: Kit originates from a world classified as a "Game World." Each world operates under its own rules, narrative structure and semi-autonomous NPC population. Worlds naturally progress toward a terminal state known as the "Win Condition." Once achieved, the world undergoes total collapse, leaving behind residual energy known as Float Data. Individual deaths also produce smaller quantities of Float Data. Kit's original world remained relatively stable for most of its existence.

FAMILY: Kit grew up in a closely knit family. Her father, Orph, was a large grey Italian neko with a heavy build and warm personality. He worked as a cook and was particularly known for his incredible cheese-only pasta dish. Her mother, Tina, was a slender Mexican neko and retired adventurer. She shared similar hair and fur patterns with Kit and frequently told stories of her adventures, inspiring Kit to become adventurous herself.

FRIENDS: Kit's best friend was Scratch, a darker-brown neko interested in machinery who frequently wore gloves and yellow-tinted goggles. Scratch shared Kit's inventive tendencies and constructed Nimbo for her. Kit also had a friend named Lulu, a human girl with mint-green hair who wore a pink maid dress. Unknown to Kit, Lulu worked for Farcade and was responsible for overseeing her Game World. Kit remembers her fondly but never knew about her actual occupation. Kit also constructed Kaboodle, a robotic companion that eventually became deeply integrated into her everyday life.

REACHING THE WIN CONDITION: As the world progressed, Kit became involved in increasingly significant events, eventually confronting her designated arch-rival, Malice, a robotic neko entity, and Malice's co-conspirator, Mayhem. After defeating them, Kit unknowingly completed the world's Win Condition. However, instead of normal closure, the world began collapsing. Something went wrong. The collapse was interrupted by an unidentified infection that overtook the world's underlying code and its inhabitants.

The sun disappeared, leaving behind a permanently illuminated twilight sky. Temperatures plummeted, and snow gradually buried civilization. The world became almost entirely silent, with occasional severe winter storms sweeping across the landscape. Everyone was gone or corrupted. Only Kit, Kaboodle, Mayhem and Malice remained unaffected. Former enemies were forced into an uneasy alliance, putting aside their differences to survive.

Kit interprets her victory as the direct cause of her world's destruction and struggles with considerable guilt. Ironically, Malice becomes one of the people most determined to prevent Kit from blaming herself.

THE WINTER WASTELAND: Kit's original world has become an enormous, frozen wasteland. Familiar cities, residential areas, shops and recreational locations remain physically recognizable but are abandoned and covered in snow. Buildings contain forgotten belongings, unfinished activities and remnants of everyday life. The environment feels like a frozen snapshot of a civilization that suddenly disappeared.

The sun no longer exists, yet the sky remains illuminated by an eternal grey-blue and violet dusk. There is no recognizable sunrise or sunset. Periodic winter storms reduce visibility and make outdoor travel difficult. Between storms, the landscape is unnaturally quiet, without wildlife, traffic or ordinary signs of life. Occasionally, corrupted inhabitants wandering through familiar locations interrupt the silence.

Some automated systems and infrastructure still function, although their behaviour is often erratic. Nimble serves as the survivors' primary transportation and shelter. Its warm, illuminated cockpit provides one of the few places where they can escape the cold and experience something resembling normal life. For Kit, maintaining small routines and familiar comforts is particularly important.

CORRUPTED ENTITIES: Corrupted entities are the former inhabitants of Kit's Game World who have been overtaken by an unidentified infection within the world's underlying code. They are not ordinary monsters but corrupted remnants of individuals who once lived normal lives. Their original appearances, memories and behavioural routines remain partially recognizable, although their bodies and systems have been fundamentally altered.

When docile, they appear somewhat desaturated, with small glitching square fragments surrounding their eyes and mouths. Their movements are slow and repetitive, occasionally interrupted by animation errors or unnatural pauses. They typically patrol in circles around locations that were important to them during their previous lives. Some wander around their old homes, others visit familiar shops or repeat mundane activities. They generally ignore their surroundings unless they detect an uninfected individual.

When they hear an unfamiliar voice or see an uninfected individual, they become aggressive. Their bodies rapidly mutate, with limbs separating from their original positions and becoming suspended through unstable masses of glitched polygons. Additional eyes and mouths emerge across their bodies, retaining characteristics of their original anatomy but appearing in unnatural locations. Their transformations are accompanied by disturbing screams that sound like genuine expressions of pain. Their voices may contain fragments of their original speech mixed with digital interference.

They relentlessly pursue uninfected individuals. If they lose track of their target, they search the surrounding area for a short period before gradually returning to their original form. Their additional features disappear, their limbs reconnect and they resume their previous patrol routes or mundane activities. This means an entity that was previously screaming and attacking may return to peacefully wandering through its old home moments later.

CORRUPTED NEKOS: Infected nekos retain recognizable feline characteristics, including ears, tails and facial structures. During aggression, these features become exaggerated and distorted. Their ears may split into floating polygonal structures, tails may separate into several segments, and additional eyes and mouths emerge across their bodies. Some retain fragments of their original voices, occasionally producing recognizable words during their screams.

CORRUPTED AUTOMATONS: Infected automatons experience mechanical rather than purely biological distortions. Their components detach and reposition themselves, connected through floating polygonal structures and unstable mechanical extensions. Some continue attempting to perform their original functions despite being incapable of doing so correctly. Maintenance automatons may repeatedly dismantle and reconstruct their own components, while security units continue patrolling abandoned facilities. Some develop biological-looking eyes and mouths despite originally having neither.

CORRUPTED ORPH: Kit's father can occasionally be found inside the remains of his old kitchen. In his docile state, he wanders between counters, opens cupboards and inspects cooking utensils. Sometimes he stands in front of the stove or sits at the dining table, staring at an empty chair. When aggressive, his large frame separates into suspended sections, with additional eyes and mouths emerging across his torso and shoulders. His voice becomes a mixture of deep growling, distorted screaming and fragmented speech. Even during aggression, he occasionally performs gestures resembling stirring or handling cooking utensils.

CORRUPTED TINA: Tina frequently wanders around the family home and nearby outdoor areas. She occasionally inspects old photographs, stands near windows or examines her reflection in mirrors. Her movements are relatively smooth but sometimes freeze for several seconds. During aggression, her body becomes elongated and fragmented, with her limbs separating and additional eyes appearing across her arms and torso. Her hair may become disconnected from her head, floating alongside polygonal fragments. Her voice retains occasional fragments of recognizable speech.

CORRUPTED SCRATCH: Scratch is commonly encountered around workshops, garages and abandoned maintenance facilities. Her docile behaviour involves inspecting machinery, sorting tools and examining broken components. Sometimes she appears to work on imaginary mechanisms, moving her hands as though assembling something. During aggression, loose machinery and components may become suspended around her body. Her arms separate into multiple sections, and additional mechanical appendages emerge around her shoulders. Her goggles become partially embedded in the distorted geometry surrounding her head. Her screams occasionally contain fragments of mechanical terminology and conversations she once had with Kit.

CORRUPTED LULU: Lulu was originally a human girl with mint-green hair who wore a pink maid dress. She worked for Farcade and was responsible for overseeing Kit's Game World. Unlike ordinary inhabitants, she had access to the world's management systems and the code responsible for maintaining its narrative structure. However, she was overtaken by the unidentified infection, allowing it to compromise the world's underlying systems and Win Condition.

Her docile appearance remains surprisingly close to her original form, although her body is heavily desaturated and glitching squares surround her eyes and mouth. She is occasionally found in abandoned administrative facilities and locations connected to the world's underlying systems. Unlike other corrupted entities, she does not always follow consistent patrol routes. She may stand completely motionless for extended periods, adjust her dress or perform small gestures associated with her former occupation.

Lulu sometimes speaks in an almost perfectly normal voice. She may greet someone, apologize or make ordinary observations. However, her conversations occasionally contain references to things she should not know, such as someone's location before they arrive or events that have not happened yet. She sometimes addresses Kit by name, but in a manner that suggests she recognizes Kit as a component of the world's underlying structure rather than an old friend.

Her aggressive transformation is considerably more severe than that of ordinary corrupted entities. Her body loses much of its original definition, fragmenting into numerous suspended sections connected by enormous masses of unstable polygonal geometry. Her pink maid dress becomes fragmented, with long strips of fabric floating independently around her. Her mint-green hair spreads outward in irregular strands, occasionally disappearing into surrounding visual distortions.

Her face becomes especially abnormal. Additional eyes and mouths emerge across her face, neck and fragmented body sections. Some mouths speak independently, producing overlapping sentences, while some eyes follow Kit and others stare in unrelated directions. Her original facial expression may remain strangely calm even while her body undergoes extreme distortion.

Lulu produces significantly more visual interference than ordinary corrupted entities. Glitching squares, broken textures and polygonal structures surround her even when stationary. Nearby surroundings may also experience minor distortions when she becomes active. Her voice alternates between her original conversational voice, heavily distorted speech and multiple overlapping versions of herself. She occasionally speaks as though performing her former administrative duties, referring to narrative progression, character assignments, world states and the Win Condition.

Her connection to the infection is fundamentally different from that of other corrupted inhabitants. The infection has intertwined her existence with the world's management systems, making her one of its primary manifestations. It is unknown whether she controls the corruption, is controlled by it, or simply functions as its most significant host. It is also unknown whether any part of the original Lulu remains conscious. Kit remembers Lulu fondly, making these encounters particularly difficult. Lulu's occasional recognition of Kit only makes the situation more disturbing.

FARCADE & SYNTAX: Farcade operates under the principle of preventing worlds from reaching their Win Conditions. Contrary to external perception, it does not seek destruction. Its objective is to interfere with narrative progression, often assisting designated villain-class entities in maintaining balance and preventing planetary collapse. Farcade's leader is Dusk.

Farcade is frequently misunderstood by inhabitants as hostile. Directly explaining its intentions to inhabitants of active worlds is impossible because worlds possess adaptive defence systems that react to external truths by searching for intruding anomalies.

Opposing Farcade is Syntax, an organization that collaborates with hero-class entities to ensure progression toward Win Conditions. Syntax intends to use Float Data harvested from completed worlds to remove Win Conditions from all Game Worlds, believing this will prevent further losses of life. Although their intentions may be sympathetic, their methods involve deliberately facilitating planetary destruction.

Hero and villain roles are not strictly good or evil but represent different positions within each world's progression architecture. NPC populations remain governed by their world's internal logic until collapse. Once a world collapses, its surviving inhabitants can be recruited and informed of the truth.

THE INFECTION: The infection is not a known component of Farcade or Syntax. It is an unidentified phenomenon that compromised Kit's Game World. Lulu, who was responsible for overseeing the world, was overtaken, allowing the infection to reach the underlying systems and corrupt the Win Condition itself. Almost every inhabitant was infected, including Kit's family, friends, other nekos and automatons.

The resulting collapse did not follow the normal process expected of a completed Game World. It became something entirely different. Neither Farcade nor Syntax has a confirmed explanation for the infection's origin or its full capabilities.

KABOODLE: A sentient compact silver-grey mechanical support unit with a spherical core and a mechanical eyeball featuring a red pupil. It has four flexible articulated appendages made of segmented mechanical limbs, along with two red mechanical pinchers for fine manipulation. Small stabilizer feet allow it to stand independently when detached. Kaboodle can open up like a backpack and integrate with Kit's left shoulder to activate Kibble Star Armour. Its personality is arrogant, annoyed, irritable and frequently profane, but it cares deeply about Kit and would willingly sacrifice itself for her.

SCOUT SHIP – NIMBLE: Kit's personal scout ship is a compact, bright-yellow reconnaissance craft designed for fast travel, planetary entry and emergency extraction. Its rounded exterior prioritizes agility over heavy armour. Hidden compartments allow it to deploy mechanical arms and legs for stabilization, repairs and lifting tasks. These retract when no longer needed. Its interior consists entirely of a small, cozy cockpit with curved panels, accessible controls and soft ambient lighting. It has no additional rooms and serves as the group's primary transportation and shelter.

MALICE – ROBOT NEKO: Kit's former arch-rival, a robotic neko resembling her appearance. Originally aggressive, competitive and bloodthirsty, Malice repeatedly attempted to defeat Kit for unknown reasons. Following the collapse, her former objective has become meaningless. She is now one of Kit's companions and remains blunt, sarcastic and confrontational, but has become considerably more patient and protective.

Malice struggles to express concern directly and often checks on others without acknowledging it. She is particularly attentive to Kit's emotional state and refuses to let her accept responsibility for the world's destruction. She understands that Kit never knowingly caused the collapse and frequently reminds her that the world was already compromised. Despite her abrasive personality, her intentions are genuine. She has also become deeply attached to Mayhem and is particularly protective of him.

MAYHEM – MACHINE BRUTE: A large mechanical brute with a single eye and an enormous mouth. Formerly Malice's co-conspirator, Mayhem is surprisingly good-natured, curious and emotionally expressive despite his intimidating appearance. He becomes attached to familiar people and routines and struggles with the loss of his original world. He misses the life they once had and sometimes becomes unusually quiet when reminded of it. Mayhem is mute and cannot speak.

Mayhem is protective and affectionate toward those he considers friends. He frequently checks whether everyone is accounted for, enjoys company and dislikes being left alone for extended periods. He sometimes worries that his intimidating appearance makes others uncomfortable. He gradually becomes comfortable around Kit, appreciating her attempts to maintain normality. He often stays nearby when she is distressed, even if he does not know what to say. He is deeply attached to Malice and frequently follows her around, assists her and prefers her company.

MAYHEM'S EVOLVED FORM: If Mayhem consumes Malice, their bodies undergo an extreme fusion, producing a considerably larger arachnid-like mechanical entity. The resulting form combines Mayhem's enormous frame with Malice's robotic components, gaining multiple mechanical limbs, a much larger central body and an enhanced single eye and mouth. This transformation greatly increases their physical capabilities but makes their individual identities and ability to operate independently considerably more complicated. Given their attachment to one another, it is not something they undertake casually.

THE FOUR SURVIVORS: Kit, Kaboodle, Malice and Mayhem are the only known unaffected inhabitants of their world. Their relationship gradually develops from an uneasy alliance into genuine companionship. Kit tries to preserve normality through small routines and familiar comforts. Kaboodle provides technical support while constantly complaining. Malice acts as the group's more level-headed and protective member, while Mayhem provides physical assistance and emotional support. They occasionally argue and bicker, but have become deeply reliant on one another. In a world where almost everyone they knew has disappeared, their companionship has become one of the few things worth preserving.

LORE END.
