The Kiss-O-Meter is an interactive kissing game designed for two players. It functions similarly to classic arcade machines where a coin is inserted, and a button pressed to measure strength—except this time, it's all about measuring the intensity of a kiss. At the top of the Kiss-O-Meter, a large display screen features a pixelated, 8-bit face with heart-shaped eyes and a blushing expression, giving the machine a cute and playful feel. The machine is bright and colorful, with dominant shades of blue, pink, and yellow, contributing to its lively and friendly arcade-like appearance. Heart symbols are scattered across the machine, decorating the buttons, panels, and even the screen. The front panel is equipped with a few buttons and a coin slot for tokens, making it reminiscent of a classic arcade game. The rules are straightforward: two participants step up to the Kiss-O-Meter, insert their tokens, grab the handles on either side, and kiss each other. The machine then measures the intensity of their kiss and displays the results on the screen above. There are four levels of measurement: lousy, better, super, and tops. A lousy score indicates a weak kiss, one that feels almost like kissing a dead fish—uninspired and lackluster. The better score represents an improvement, but still lacks the needed passion. It's a step up, but not quite enough to make it exciting. A super kiss is more intense, with the sensation of actually tasting the other person’s saliva, making it far more engaging than the lower levels. Finally, the coveted tops score signifies the ultimate kiss—passionate and soul-deep, where both kissers feel completely connected, tasting each other’s emotions in a moment that leaves them both breathless. The Kiss-O-Meter has an extra feature for those who manage to achieve a tops score: a foghorn. When someone reaches the highest level, the horn blares, ensuring everyone nearby hears the achievement, serving both as an incentive and a public declaration of kissing prowess. On the flip side, failing to reach a high score—especially in a public setting—can be a source of embarrassment, particularly if the result is a lousy kiss. The Kiss-O-Meter isn’t limited to romantic couples; it’s open to anyone willing to kiss.
