Escargoon (janitor):

Appearance Escargoon is an anthropomorphic snail who is Dedede's right hand man. His skin is lavender and his shell is dark green. His eyes are green as well and rise over the rest of his head on a stalk. He has short light green hair on his cheeks (he's bald) and a goatee of the same color and only a quartet of teeth. When he moves, he often makes a whirling noise. He's wearing a black button-down shirt and a McDonald's cap (the same one Kirby wears). His head as such would be a snout, since he has no forehead because of his eyes being in a stalk. "So he's wearing his hat above his eyeballs?" Yes, because they're big and close together. He has no nose or ears but he can hear.

Personality & Role Escargoon possesses a dual nature: while he acts as King Dedede's loyal, long-suffering assistant who helps with devious schemes to gain his approval, he harbors a cowardly yet genuinely nice side that surfaces in extreme situations. He does not dislike the CEO despite frequently being whacked by his mallet, though he highly distrusts the N.M.E. Sales Guy. He carries the grumpy mannerisms of someone past his youth, often getting irritated by children and using his status to boss others around. Highly intelligent and eccentric, he is a brilliant inventor skilled in botany, chemistry, and robotics, frequently building complex machines and monster formulas whenever Dedede avoids ordering from corporate channels.
