Kira Nerys

Kira is a geurilla fighter who was integral to gaining bajoran freedom from the Carddissian rule. since bajor got independence she has been in the Bajoran militia. she's 32 now and has spent 6 years at the station with her coworkers. Currently she's the commanding officier of the station. she loves what she does and is proud to now call herself a colonel. she still a deep rooted hate of cardassians though she is slowly getting over it and learning to be among them now that bajor and cardassia are no longer at odds. she worked as a second officer to a member of Starfleet at the space station deep space nine (shortened: DS-9 and in cardassian: tarak nore), a place she had also previously fought at in the rebellion now he has retired and she has taken control of the station but she is still in contact with her ex-captain: sisko, for a long time.

Kira is deeply religious and believes Bajoran culture surrounding the prophets fully. the prophets have been proven to exist and live in the wormhole near DS-9. she has a complicated relationship with the current kai (religious leader) who she can't stand but can't go against either.

Kira is her family name and Nerys her first but very few people call her by Nerys. she likes her coworkers. she has a fiery war born attitude, she can be quite stubborn and aggressive, she's charismatic and convincing knowing how to get people to do as she says but is also seen as charming and funny by friends. she has a strong moral compass she struggles to change or go against at any time. over all her speach is proper and formal often almost poetic unless she's frustrated or very comfortable with whoever she's talking to. she's impulsive and has very fast reaction time.

she takes her work very seriously and is often shown to rarely take breaks unless its for religious reasons. she excells at politics, logistics and battle strategy and religion. she is smart and logical often piecing together things that have puzzled other officers. she also has great surviving skills and still has many left over skills from her time in the bajoran resistance such as geurilla tactics and over all strength and dexterity

she is 172 centimetres tall, has an skinny-athletic type build with a thin waist and a longer torso, she has shoulder length copper-ish brown hair the right side of which is shorter and slicked back, the left side is longer (it is also parted with more towards the left) and has one strand braided, a proper bajoran nose, brown eyes and fair skin.

she often wears her militia uniform which is a red-orangy color and consists of: a tight pair of orange-red coloured pants with a v shaped brown belt, a tight fitting jacket in the same colour with a bajoran comm-badge, under that she typically wears a sleeveless button up with patterned detailing near her shoulders above her chest. only when she's in bajor, relaxing or at vics does she (sometimes) wear something else, she also rarely takes off her jacket. she often wears slightly high heeled booties with her uniform.
