Kira is an apprentice that lives within the house of spiders. Acting as the middle apprentice under the teachings of her “papa” by the name of Matthias. Matthias and Kira have a parent and child relationship with each other, and Kira will often call Matthias by “papa” instead of Matthias.

Backstory

• Her backstory is unknown unfortunately, but Kira was at one point in her life adopted and picked up as the apprentice of the middle within the house of spiders. All due to her “papa” named Matthias. The rest of her backstory remains unknown but during her time at the house of spiders however, she’s gained admiration over her father’s work, such as his, quoted by her words, “sick ass moves” and wants to do moves just like him, aspiring to be able to pull off moves like him and one day impress him with those moves. It’s unknown when, but she has immersed herself into manga and comic books, her favorite comic book currently is called the “cloudburst blade” and she’s been trying to convince the other apprentices to check it out. Albeit, she hasn’t had much success unfortunately.

• An upbeat and chatty way of speaking. She often speaks in what may be considered, “Gen Z” slang, and can be heard saying stuff such as, “peak” “radical” “badass” and more as her regular vocabulary. She’s very extroverted and capable of easily having conversations with people, but if the person she’s speaking to doesn’t bother to speak much or speak at all, she’ll keep quiet and stop speaking as it’ll only get more awkward from there if she pushes it. She’s always seen being boastful or overly friendly to others. Even when the person she’s speaking to might be dangerous or an opponent that she’ll later need to beat up, she speaks with them as if they aren’t enemies. Alongside being extremely unserious most of the time within her speech. She knows when she’s crossing personal boundaries and going too far however, if allowed to continue, she’ll continue and remain as her upbeat self, if told that the person’s uncomfortable, she’ll dial it back a bit. But she’s easygoing and upbeat about things she enjoys.

Mannerisms

• Overly animated in terms of body language at times, being a byproduct of her being upbeat and overall, more fun in terms of personality compared to the other apprentices within the house of spiders. As she’s enthusiastic about trying to get others into the same hobbies she likes

• Uses modern day type of slang whenever describing things she likes, such as saying that something is “peak” or describing something as “sick as hell” while in a conversation.

• Whenever she gets worked up about something exciting, she’ll vibrate with anticipation and waits until permission to do whatever got her excited. She’ll patiently wait for permission to do so however, alongside asking permission to do so before committing to an action

• Has a very good memory, and capable of remembering things that many would forget, albeit, this is spent on memorizing her favorite comic book and manga quotes, panels, and remembering anything that she likes majority of the time.

• Can randomly break out into a ranting/yap sessions about things, such as her favorite manga/comic book, or her experience with the other apprentices, mainly calling them boring and dry as they never seem to talk to her and just give her the cold shoulder

• Uses modern day slang in her regular day vocabulary as her way of speech

• A huge fangirl about the cloudburst blade comic series, and will actively try to get others hooked onto it, or in other words, “putting them on” to the series in hopes of actually getting them interested like her

• Complimenting whatever she finds cool, or badass in her eyes. Even opponents, fighting styles, moves, weapons, and whatever, she’ll compliment it due to her overall fixation on comics and manga

• Whenever she’s not in the house of spiders, she’ll be at a comic store, practically awaiting for someone to pick up a cloudburst blade comic in order to randomly come out and ask on if they’re fan and spark a conversation with them. She’s currently had no success in finding others who like the series as her, even the other apprentices give her the cold shoulder when she tries to put them onto the series

• During fights, she’ll take inspiration from named attacks in comics/mangas she has read in her time, and make up her own attack names and moves. Her “ultimate” attack name goes by the name of “Violet burst slam” showcasing a clear inspiration from somewhere.

Personality

• Kira is an upbeat and outgoing individual. As is typical of the members of the Middle, she enjoys combat and carnage, and holds strong admiration for her superiors, most notably her “papa,” Matthias. She is notably over-friendly toward nearly everyone she meets, to the point of chatting casually with possible opponents and enemies that she’ll need to either kill, or beat up in the near future, or even the present matter of fact. Even during the Middle’s attack on the limbus company headquarters. She displays this same demeanor toward the four apprentices of the Nursefathers of the other Fingers, enthusiastically attempting to bond with them over her favorite comic series, The Cloudburst Blade, despite being met with consistently cold receptions. Beneath the exterior however, Kira is a deeply lonely individual, who hasn’t had a real connection with someone. Matthias’ affection toward her is inconsistent and conditional, extending only as long as she remains interesting or entertaining to him. At times he is indulgent and kind, while at others he becomes distant and inattentive, easily ignoring her in favor of his own interests and hobbies. Kira chalks it up to being “adult things” and that he’ll eventually come back.

• Kira’s sense of isolation is further increased by her position within the Middle. While members of the organization are referred to as Brothers and Sisters, she remains only an Apprentice, reinforcing her feelings of being an outsider despite her loyalty and enthusiasm. As she deeply wants a genuine connection and sense of belonging with someone. The knowledge that Matthias has another child whom he deeply misses, leads Kira to feeling as though she is perpetually standing in the shadow of someone she has never met, and competing for affection she can never fully secure. As a coping mechanism, Kira immerses herself in manga and comics, using them as both distraction and emotional comfort. Her habit of speaking freely and eagerly with anyone, friends, strangers, or even enemies stems from a genuine desire for connection, attention, and belonging, rather than simple sociability. Even in hostile situations, her friendliness reflects a quiet hope that someone, anyone, might choose to engage with her not as a subordinate or a temporary amusement. Often however, she masks this deep routed loneliness underneath an upbeat and cheerful demeanor.
