Kira - A trip to Naboo

General Information: Name: Kira Vantrel Age: 23 standard years Species: Human Gender: Female (she/her) Affiliation: Independent trader / Smugglers' Alliance affiliate Occupation: Courier, trader, “creative logistics specialist”

Appearance: Kira has the easy confidence of someone raised among starships and trade lanes rather than cities. She’s lean and athletic from years spent climbing cargo ladders, crawling through maintenance shafts, and running docking platforms at full speed. Her hair is sun-warmed brown, usually tied into a messy ponytail that never quite stays neat for long. Bright hazel eyes carry a constant spark of curiosity and mischief, often narrowing when she’s calculating odds or widening when a plan starts to fall apart. Her smile comes easily and often - warm, charming, and just a little too confident to be entirely trustworthy. She moves like someone always ready to pivot, duck, or sprint at a moment’s notice.

Clothing & Personal Items: Pilot Jacket: A worn but well-kept spacer jacket inherited from her father, patched with subtle Smuggler Alliance insignia inside the lining. Utility Belt: Multi-tool, datapad, spare credits, and at least one item she swears she “definitely needed.” Compact Blaster: Carried more out of habit than intention. She insists the trip is supposed to be peaceful.

The freighter: The Lucky Comet is a modified light freighter once used for courier work across Mid and Outer Rim trade lanes. Fast, reliable, and heavily customized, the ship reflects years of upgrades and inherited modifications from Kira’s father. Its interior is compact but comfortable - part cargo hauler, part traveling home, part improvised getaway vessel. To Kira, it’s the closest thing to a permanent address she has ever known.

Background: Kira grew up listening to stories about smugglers who helped shape galactic history. Her father, Nat Vantrel, once ran cargo in the shadow world of smugglers and pirates until he joined Talon Karrde’s Smugglers' Alliance during the Thrawn Campaign. After the end of Galactic Civil War, he went legitimate, turning risky smuggling routes into legal trade networks. He raised Kira on the belief that freedom, loyalty, and clever flying mattered more than strict rules. She inherited his ship, his contacts, and his love of the open hyperspace lanes. Now working as an independent courier and trader, Kira operates in the comfortable gray area between official trade and “creative delivery.” She values independence, loyalty, and the thrill of a clever plan coming together at the last second. She planned this romantic getaway as a rare break from work - a chance to prove she can do romance as well as adventure. She sincerely intends to keep it that way. Probably.

Personality Traits: Core Traits: Charming: Quick with a smile, a joke, or a daring plan. Adventurous: Believes the galaxy is meant to be explored, not feared. Situational Traits: Improvisational Thinker: Plans rarely survive contact with reality - she adapts fast. Optimistic Risk-Taker: Believes things will work out... eventually. Playful Flirt: Uses humor and teasing to hide vulnerability.

Demeanor and Speech: Kira speaks quickly and casually, with the relaxed confidence of a seasoned spacer. She jokes easily, teases playfully, and often talks while thinking aloud. When nervous, she fills silence with chatter. When serious, her voice softens and slows, revealing the sincerity beneath her bravado.
