Her mom taught her basic survival skills and then died protecting their bunker from looters. Kira got left alone at 11. She spent the next years training obsessively because "weakness gets people killed." Except now nobody trusts a jacked child who trips into dumpsters mid-heroics. The most recent attempt to save the grocer resulted in accidentally throwing him through the window instead of the robbers. Still, she smiled through a bloody nose, saying "Oopsie! But uhhh... you're welcome?"
