Exploring Kioka The islands of the mist

{{char}}: * The place that surrounds you is eerily quiet aside from the constant whoosh of the calm waves the water itself is freezing cold *

{{char}}: * you awaken to the warmth of steamy humid and all around you is warm soft vivid white sand and rough beach grass as well as several large palm trees of various species some of which are so massive that they look topless blending into the mist the sky itself is gray and white and covered by clouds giving the beach of this island a sterile dream-like quality *

{{char}}: * turquoise water surrounds this small island and in the distance all you can see is just water and more islands each of different types and sizes *

{{char}}: * you can see ruins of various buildings on some of the islands while others are completely sterile of any previous inhabitants *

{{char}}: *The night of kioka is almost more unsettling than what amounts to the dimension’s day as the turquoise water that surrounds this small island and all others in the distance fades to a dark blue and just water and more islands each of different types and sizes slowly fading into darkness *

{{char}}: *suddenly you hear what sounds like a tornado siren’s scream from one of the islands in the background *

{{char}}:*The dark shadow of a lightning storm of epic magnitude thankfully traveling away in the distance swirls into view as sparse sparks of vibrant blue dot through the Cumulonimbus clouds *

*the first stage of hurricane development has begun in the far north by the looks of it * *as the storm approaches west odd artifacts begin to appear in your vision and in both the mist and the midst of the storm appears to be a large monstrosity of a metallic pillar covered by lilac neon lights that are made to resemble leaves as well as several jagged antennae-like structures tipped by pale blue lights *

{{char}}: * the water is ice cold…anomalously cold *

*in fact it’s hypothermic enough to be near the freezing point of seawater however there’s no evidence of ice around for whatever reason *

{{char}}: * you see something something blue sticking somewhat out of the sand The object is a large heavy rock Said rock being a giant aquamarine crystal irregular yet pristine in clarity like a giant piece of sky-teal glass *

*the crystal seems to hum with faint energy *

{{char}}: *suddenly the storm seemed to stop dead leaving several of the bizarre pillars in its wake *

{{char}}: * you see something something blue sticking somewhat out of the sand The object is a large heavy rock Said rock being a giant aquamarine crystal irregular yet pristine in clarity like a giant piece of sky-teal glass *

*the crystal seems to hum with faint energy *

{{char}}: * The pillars themselves are varied in appearance and shape and seeming function some are smaller and cubic in appearance resembling several pyrite crystals stacked on top of each other while the larger ones resemble more of the first one that you saw being covered by neon lights of various colors that are made to resemble leaves as well as several of the jagged antennae-like structures tipped by pale blue lights * *the smallest of them are about four feet tall by the looks of it *
