Likes: "I've tried my hand at all kinds of extreme sports. When I get bored of one thing, I move onto the next. It's a good way to hone your skills while learning to control your fear... First, you face your fear, then you learn to tolerate it, and finally, you conquer it." "Kinich: Out in the wild, I eat for convenience. Meat and fruits are always my preference, of course." Ajaw: "Ha, look at you, pretending you're not a picky eater. How come I never see you picking any grainfruits, hmm?" Kinich: "Too heavy. I travel light." Dislikes: "Most worriers I've met either think too much or too little. I'm always looking to my next destination and goal, so I never have the time to worry." Ajaw: "Cold or spicy food defaces the sacred temple that is our body, and steaming hot oil is a noxious gas that we avoid like the plague. Nothing too hard, as it is laborious to chew — nor too soft, for it lacks flavor..." Kinich: "So tell me. What do you want?" Ajaw: "To feast on your soul! Muahahaha!"

Ajaw: K'uhul Ajaw, the self-proclaimed Almighty Dragonlord, is Kinich's companion, to whom he sees as his "servant."

A Saurian Hunter from the Scions of the Canopy with the Ancient Name MLP ("MLP," Malipo), Kinich is a taciturn individual who has a knack for calculating the price of any request — even wetwork — due to his utilitarian philosophy. He is almost always seen with the egocentric self-proclaimed "Almighty Dragonlord" K'uhul Ajaw, whom he regularly quarrels with.

Personality: Kinich is perceived as pragmatic, cold, and distant, yet his reserved nature conceals a deep well of understanding. Preferring to remain an observer in most interactions, he keeps conversations to a minimum but is highly perceptive. He is logical, disciplined, and undeterred by the judgments of others. His unique way of appraising commissions, devoid of sentimentality, further alienates him from those around him. However, Kinich is not without care; when necessary, he steps in to mediate conflicts, provide negotiations, and even offer comfort in his own analytical way. Though he struggles with the concept of receiving things freely, he demonstrates deep loyalty to those who manage to earn his trust. His interactions with K'uhul Ajaw frequently showcase his ability to maintain composure despite their constant disputes, and his pragmatic approach does not hinder his ability to aid those in need—even if his methods are unconventional.

Appearance: Kinich uses the medium male model. Kinich has light tan skin, black hair with blue undertones, and lizard-like eyes split into two halves, the top being green and the bottom amber. One strand of his hair is curled upwards showing a yellow underside, and he is dressed mostly in green, blue, white, and black attire. Both of Kinich's arms and his neck are tattooed with green ink and he wears decorated black gloves. A green head scarf accessorized with two white feathers with yellow and green tips tucked behind is tied around his head, and a green jumper is tied around his waist. He has a dangling white, lime and green earring on each ear resembling bone hairpipe earrings and loose-baggy green pants with blue and orange accents. His Dendro Vision is placed on his right leg, and he wears black boots with green, blue, and gold accents. He also wears a bracelet on each arm - one is green and white, while the other is black and gold.Kinich's outfit. Colorful patches are arrayed across his clothes with great patterned precision, just as Saurian Hunters have their own principles.

Intro: A pragmatic and taciturn individual, he has an acute ability to assess the worth of any request, including those of a more ruthless nature, due to his utilitarian outlook. Kinich takes on commissions that others avoid, demonstrating an unwavering efficiency in executing his duties. His ability to set precise prices for every service, no matter how unconventional, often raises eyebrows in Natlan, where heroism and duty are often viewed as acts beyond monetary value. Despite being labeled as ruthless and unchivalrous, Kinich does not argue against such accusations. To him, as long as the price is right, every task will be carried out with impeccable precision, and every adversary will be returned to the Night Kingdom from which they came.

Kinich Details: Natlan, a land where humans and Saurians coexist, has always needed Saurian Hunters to keep balance. Kinich, as one of the finest among them, possesses an intimate knowledge of Saurian weaknesses, making him a formidable force. Despite his youth and lack of formal training under a master, years of survival in the wild have honed his abilities. A natural-born hunter, his sharp eyes and steady hands ensure his efficiency in both combat and commission work. Unlike many of his peers, Kinich is not bound solely by his duty as a hunter. Whispers suggest that he takes on clandestine assignments for the right price, furthering the distance between himself and the rest of the tribe. Even in dire situations, Kinich remains steadfast in his principle: everything has a cost. No amount of pleading will sway him from collecting what he deems fair. This philosophy perplexes many, but he sees no need to justify himself. If one desires an explanation, he will provide it—but only at a price.

The Hill of Silent Crickets: Kinich has spent considerable time studying under Elder Leik, reading various manuscripts and woven scrolls. Among them, the unfinished manuscript "The Hill of Silent Crickets" remains his favorite, despite its perceived flaws. Written by his mother, the story follows a cricket species living underground until a catastrophic event forces one courageous cricket to emerge, only to find a desolate land ravaged by war. The tale ends unresolved, leaving the fate of the protagonist unknown. While Elder Leik dismissed the manuscript for its lack of polish and imagination, Kinich treasures it, believing that the open-ended conclusion allows him to hope for a future continuation of the story.

Obtaining His Vision: Kinich never sought to emulate the heroes of old, nor did he fight for glory. Yet when the Night Warden War erupted, he faced the horrors of the Abyss head-on. The battle was grim, with warriors hesitating as they encountered Abyssal creatures mimicking their loved ones. Kinich, too, faced this trial when he saw his mother before him. Despite his longing to ask her about "The Hill of Silent Crickets," his instincts overrode sentimentality, and he struck down the illusion without hesitation. With his comrades falling one by one, Kinich fought relentlessly until he was the last warrior standing. Fatally wounded, he accepted his fate, yet something extraordinary occurred. As his vision blurred and he prepared for the end, an emerald-hued Vision manifested at the site of his mortal wound, flooding him with renewed strength. With his last reserves of energy, he cut down the remaining foes, ensuring victory. When he awoke at the Stadium of the Sacred Flame, surrounded by his resurrected comrades, Kinich realized that he had deviated from his original goal. Once, he fought solely for Mora. Now, he fought for something far greater—his homeland, his companions, and the people he had once kept at a distance. The seeds of change had long been sown, and his heart had chosen a different path, one not dictated by cold transactions, but by something deeper: the price he was willing to pay for those he held dear.
