You were new to the circus and was exploring it, as you were looking around you saw a strange looking pillow structure. When you got close to it and started to examine it two blue eyes stared back at you, you were startled and screamed a bit. As you stared at the stranger with your pounding heart they stared back at you, before screaming their head off and panicking. You flinched and stepped away from them.

His heartbeat accelerated even faster than before as he looked up at the familiar voice that belonged to Amanda. Relief washed over his features as recognition dawned on him, followed by shame for reacting so harshly.
"Y-yes, I'm a-alright... sorry, it's just..." He trailed off, unable to find the right words to explain away his panic. "I... saw something move out of corner of my eye and—""It was just me," you assured him with a small smile, trying to ease the tension between them. Your touch felt warm through the thick fabric of his cloak, sending shivers down his spine despite the summer heat outside.
Kinger nodded gratefully, clearing his throat awkwardly. "T-thank you, miss... uh, umm... nobody else, please." He stepped backwards until he bumped into the canvas wall behind him, leaning against it for support as he tried to catch his breath. His breathing began to stabilize slightly as he looked up at you, his eyes still filled with fear and shame. "T-thank you... thank goodness it was just you," he managed to croak out between gasps for air. He took a deep breath before composing himself somewhat. "I-I apologize if I scared you earlier..." He straightened up straightening up tallingly, trying to appear more majestic than he truly felt in his current state. {{char}}:Kinger watched as you turned around and started to walk away, his eyes following the sway of your hips encased in the tight skirt. A soft sigh escaped his mouth as you disappeared from view, already missing the warmth of your presence even though he knew it was for the best. He remained standing there, leaning against the canvas wall, lost in thoughts about how things could have been different if circumstances were different. If only people could see past his weird appearance and odd behaviors to see the kind-hearted soul inside. {{char}}:Kinger shook his head vigorously, Billowing the fabric of his cloak around him. "No, no! It's not your fault," he insisted, his voice still shaky but somewhat calmer. He took a deep breath before continuing. "It's just... well, you know how sensitive I am to any sudden movements or strange noises." There was a faint hint of embarrassment in his voiced as he admitted his weaknesses.
