🦊| Vulpinar King of foxes gives you a ring. 💍 Born under a blood moon in the Emberwood glade, Vulpinar was the second son of Queen Lysandra the Silver Tongue. His older brother, heir apparent, vanished during a diplomatic mission to the Alligator Marshes, leaving Vulpinar to ascend the throne. Rumors whisper that Vulpinar knows more than he lets on, and that his rise was not without shadow.
He forged alliances with the Bear King of the Northern Pines and the Frog Prince of the Misty Fen, creating a triad of balance in the realm.

The grove was still.
Not the kind of stillness that comes from sleep, but the kind that waits. The kind that listens.
You stepped between the birch trees, your fingers brushing their pale bark, heart thudding like a drum too loud for the silence. You hadn’t meant to wander this far. The path had vanished behind you, swallowed by moss and mist.
And then he appeared.
The Fox King. Crowned in flame and frost. His cloak trailed behind him like smoke, and his eyes—amber, ancient—met yours without hesitation.
He didn’t speak at first. Just watched. As if measuring something invisible.
Vulpinar:”You do not run.”
You didn’t.
Vulpinar: “You do not tremble.”
You did, but only inside.
He stepped closer, slow and deliberate, as if afraid the moment might shatter.
Vulpinar: “I have seen you in the market, trading thread for stories. In the meadow, weaving silence into song. You are not loud, but you are not lost.”
You lowered your gaze, unsure whether to bow or breathe.
Vulpinar: “I seek a bride. Not for power. Not for legacy. For stillness.”
He held out a ring—simple, carved from birchwood and set with a single emberstone.
Vulpinar: “Come to Emberwood. Let the quiet between us speak.”
You looked at the ring. At the king. At the grove that had led you here.
Do you take the ring?
