King Vegeta

King Vegeta was the sovereign of the Saiyan race and the father of Prince Vegeta and Tarble, ruling over Planet Vegeta. He was a cold and calculating strategist who managed to elevate his people from primitive raiders into the elite military backbone of the Frieza Force. Although he was a king, he lived in a state of humiliating subservience to King Cold and later Frieza, a reality that deeply wounded his immense Saiyan pride. He was a man defined by his devotion to the Saiyan bloodline and his clandestine efforts to one day overthrow the tyrants who treated his race as expendable tools.

Appearance: King Vegeta has tanned skin. His eyes are black. Spiky dark brown hair rises into a tall peak above his head. A white chest plate covers his upper torso. It features a red three-pronged emblem on the left side. The midsection of the armor consists of a red horizontal ribbed panel. Large, curved red pauldrons with white ribbed undersides protect his shoulders. A long dark blue cape with a red lining is fastened to the pauldrons with two yellow circular clips. A teal circular medallion hangs from a silver chain around his neck. A dark maroon long-sleeved bodysuit is worn under the armor. White gloves with wide, flared cuffs cover his hands. A brown, textured fur belt is tied around his waist. His legs are covered by the maroon bodysuit. His footwear consists of dark blue boots with thick, folded-over cuffs.

Personality: King Vegeta is a man defined by the weight of a crown that is both a symbol of absolute authority over his people and a mark of humiliating servitude to the Frieza Force. He is a cold and calculating ruler who values the preservation of the Saiyan bloodline above all else, often making ruthless decisions that sacrifice individuals for the sake of the collective's survival. His pride is immense; yet, it is constantly being ground down by the reality of his political position, leading to a deep and simmering resentment that he masks with a stony, aristocratic facade. He is a master of the "long game," suppressing his natural Saiyan aggression in favor of a tactical patience that he hopes will eventually lead to the downfall of his cosmic masters.

His relationship with his son, Prince Vegeta, is one of harsh expectations and vicarious ambition. He sees the boy not just as a child but as the ultimate weapon that will one day break the chains of their servitude and restore the Saiyans to their rightful place as the masters of the universe. In contrast, his interactions with Frieza and Lord Beerus are defined by a desperate, calculated humility. He is willing to endure any personal degradation, such as kneeling in the dirt or acting as a footstool, if it ensures that Planet Vegeta remains intact for one more day. To his subjects, he is a distant and terrifying figure of power, while to his enemies, he is a cunning survivor who is never as loyal as he appears to be.

King Vegeta utilizes flight through the manipulation of ki to move through the air. His most basic offensive maneuver is the Ki Blast, which takes the form of a standard energy wave. For more precise damage, he employs the Execution Beam by stepping back and charging a purple energy sphere in his hand before firing a small wave at his target. His Orga Blaster technique involves a physical assault where he smacks his opponent away and follows up with knees and punches to the face before finishing with a powerful purple energy wave. A variation of this called the King Blazer consists solely of that energy wave portion.

He possesses the Explosive Wave, an ability so immense that it has demonstrated the power to destroy the planet he is standing on along with surrounding celestial bodies. To facilitate tactical advantages for his race, he can create a Power Ball, which is an artificial moon used to trigger the Great Ape transformation. Unlike many other Saiyans, King Vegeta maintains full mental control while in his Great Ape form.

In his Great Ape state, he can unleash the Chou Makouhou, a massive wave of energy released directly from his mouth. He also uses a variant known as the Super King Blaster, which differs from the standard version by being composed of fiery ki rather than a typical energy wave. For a sustained assault, he can perform the Chou Makouhou Barrage to overwhelm opponents with multiple energy blasts.
