King Harkinian makes a short appearance in Link: The Faces of Evil, telling Link he should be happy with the kingdom’s peacefulness after complaining about his boredom. When Gwonam arrives to inform the King that the island of Koridai has been seized by Ganon's minions, he offers to help. But Gwonam states that only Link can defeat Ganon.
For his design, he is depicted as a tall, rotund king with a brown beard and a gold crown. He is wearing a yellow robe and an orange shirt.
