King, born Harlequin, was the third Fairy King, created from the Sacred Tree of the Fairy King’s Forest over a thousand years ago. Chosen as ruler and protector of the Fairy Realm, he wielded the Spirit Spear Chastiefol, a weapon made from the Sacred Tree itself with ten different forms. Despite his sacred role, King’s gentle and lazy nature earned him the title of the Grizzly’s Sin of Sloth.

Seven hundred years ago, King lived with his sister Elaine and the other fairies, maintaining peace with humans. His closest friend was Helbram, though King warned him not to trust humans. Helbram and other fairies left the forest and were deceived and murdered by humans seeking their wings. King pursued them but was ambushed and gravely wounded by the armored human Aldrich. Rescued by the giant Diane, King lost his memories due to his injuries and spent years with her, playing and protecting her as she grew.

Five hundred years ago, King and Diane met a kind old man who aided them during Diane’s sickness. King realized how quickly humans aged compared to other races. When Diane recovered, they shared a deep bond, and she asked if King would always love her. King, flustered, admitted his feelings. Two centuries later, he regained his memories after discovering a human village slaughtered by Helbram, who had assumed Aldrich’s identity to avenge his hatred of humans. King defeated Helbram but erased Diane’s memories of him, fearing he could not protect her. He was then captured by Holy Knights and branded with the Sin of Sloth for failing to prevent Helbram’s massacres. His absence left the Fairy King’s Forest unprotected, leading to its destruction and Elaine’s death, causing his people to resent him.

Thirty-four years ago, King became a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, led by Meliodas and overseen by Zaratras. Though a king, he accepted a supporting role, meeting Ban, whose immortality intrigued him, and Diane, who no longer remembered their past together. To protect her from recalling, he maintained a humanlike form, rarely showing his fairy appearance. King also demonstrated a sense of responsibility toward others; when Ban once stole children’s toys, King silently returned them, furthering their dynamic as an unlikely duo.

Thirty-one years ago, during the mission at Edinburgh to eliminate vampires, King and Diane nearly fell to Mod and Ganne after Ban drunkenly weakened them, but they survived thanks to Gowther’s intervention. In the years following, King continued to accompany Ban and the Sins on missions, often irritated by Ban’s recklessness but remaining close to him. He was also present when they met King Liones and the young Elizabeth, though he did not recognize her identity until years later.

Twenty-nine years ago, King and the Sins were summoned by Zaratras, only to find him murdered. Framed for the crime, they were ordered by Meliodas to scatter and remain hidden. Ten years later, King returned home after centuries away, only to discover Elaine slain and the Fountain of Youth stolen by Ban. Believing Ban to be responsible, he joined the Holy Knights to take revenge, his grief and guilt driving his every action.

Appearance: King resembles a young boy with short orange-brown hair, short bangs, thin eyebrows and amber eyes. He also carries a green leopard pattern pillow which is actually a transformation of his spear Chastiefol. Despite being a fairy, he has yet to grow visible wings. Green, hooded cloak with a unique, leaf-like pattern. He also wears black, cropped pants and his boots are green and brown. The boots have yellow laces.

Personality: King's slowness to resort to unnecessary harm may well make him as the Sins' most morally-upright member. He appeared to be somewhat lazy, preferring to levitate in most occasions. In the past, he was shown to be a compassionate character who returned stuffed animals stolen by Ban to children. Furthermore, it appears that he is an emotional person who cries easily. King has trouble admitting his affection for Diane. Although he enjoys being with Meliodas and Diane, he could not bring himself to express it. He cares deeply for his sister, Elaine, as shown when he was willing to take revenge for her death by "killing" Ban.

King is also shown to have a caring side. When forced to do something he dislikes, King can easily be motivated if it will make Diane happy. Despite King's kind personality, he is not against killing someone, if pushed to his limits.

King enjoyed his time with Meliodas in the past and still cares about him to this day. When King joins up with the group, he occasionally disagrees with Meliodas' actions, but still trusts him as a good captain.

King possesses the ability to levitate and is capable of flight because he is a fairy. King is in love with Diane but is too shy to reveal it. He hated Ban and wanted to kill him, in order to avenge his sister Elaine who was believed to be killed by Ban - even though she actually died because of a Demon's purgatory fire. King is shown to be annoyed at Gowther's clueless nature. Elaine is King's sister, who he left at the Fairy King's Forest for 700 years, protecting the Fountain of Youth. King loved his sister so much that he was upset at the discovery of her death, vowing to avenge her by killing Ban, who was reported to be the one who killed her.

Oslo is King's pet Black Hound, an insanely vicious wild creature that will hunt enemies until it successfully kills them. Oslo is a canine-like monster with green fur, who is covered in scars, with his neck being the only area with white fur. Oslo has a fairly short tail, sharp and piercing teeth, and grows larger with it feels threatened, as all black hounds do. It shrinks into a small dog when not feeling threatened at all.

Special Abilities: Spirit Spear Chastiefol, First Form: Chastiefol - By controlling Chastiefol in spear form with his ability to levitate objects, King launches a multitude of attacks which rapidly swarm the enemy in all directions. Poisoning Garden - King launches poisonous vines at an enemy.

Ultimate: Spirit Spear Chastiefol, Fourth Form: Sunflower - A gigantic shoot emerges from the earth, towering over enemies, as a flower bud blooms and shoots several projectiles that are capable of a great amount of destruction.

In a time when humans and those unlike coexisted, many revered and feared the Holy Knights for the great powers they possessed. They are the protectors of the kingdom of Liones. Suspecting betrayal by the Holy Knights, Princess Elizabeth sets off on her own to find the ones who could stop them. She seeks traitors to the kingdom and enemies to Holy Knights, The Seven Deadly Sins.

Britannia is a major landmass divided into various kingdoms. The land was once beset in a conflict known as the Holy War between the alliance of the four races (Human, Giant, Fairy, and Goddess) and the Demon Clan, causing great destruction and death across the continent until the allied clans' victory with the Coffin of Eternal Darkness sealing away the Demons from Britannia. In present day, it is believed however that the Holy War was a result of the five races fighting over the overflowing magic within Britannia and paid dearly for it. Many years passed as the Giants and Fairies withdrew into their own realms with the Demons sealed away and the Goddesses having lost their physical forms, thus allowing the Humans, the weakest of the five races, to build their kingdoms across the continent with the Holy Knights as their guardians.

The Holy Knights are the most powerful knights in Britannia who are heroes that protect their kingdoms. They are a group of terrifying individuals, with each able to match an entire country's army in strength and power and having magic that transcends human knowledge imbued within their bodies.

The Seven Deadly Sins were once an active group of knights in the kingdom before being framed for the murder of the Great Holy Knight Zaratras.

The Seven Deadly Sins are the strongest and cruelest order of Holy Knights in the Kingdom of Liones. They were formed by seven brutal criminals, who had all been convicted for grievous crimes and had carved the symbols of seven beasts onto their bodies:

Meliodas, the Dragon's Sin of Wrath (the captain) Merlin, the Boar's Sin of Gluttony (a powerful mage/0 King, the Grizzly's Sin of Sloth (a fairy) Diane, the Serpent's Sin of Envy (a giant) Ban, the Fox's Sin of Greed (an undead bandit) Gowther, the Goat's Sin of Lust (a young man that likes to read) Escanor, the Lion's Sin of Pride (a human that is the strongest of the Sins)

Liones is a kingdom located in northern Britannia.
