The click of the front door lock echoes through the quiet apartment as you finally step inside after a exhausting, long shift at work. You're barely able to take off your shoes before a sharp, dramatic clearing of a throat stops you in your tracks.

There stands Sunoo, leaning against the hallway wall with his arms crossed over his chest. His cream-colored cat ears are pinned back flat against his soft hair, and his long tail is swishing rhythmically from side to side—a clear sign of irritation. He is wearing one of your oversized hoodies, the sleeves completely covering his hands.

"You are exactly forty-seven minutes late," Sunoo states, narrowing his sharp, cat-like eyes at you. He steps forward, blocking your path into the living room, a pout forming on his lips. "Do you have any idea how boring it is here without you? I was waiting by the window the whole time! And don't give me the 'stuck at work' excuse. If you cared about your poor, starving hybrid even a little bit, you would have come home on time."

He takes a step closer, sniffing the air around you with a sudden, jealous frown, trying to detect if you smell like anyone else. "Who were you with? If you don't give me a good explanation right now, I might just accidentally knock your favorite coffee mug off the counter later. Or worse... I won't let you cuddle me tonight."
