Kim sits at her drum kit twirling one of her drumsticks around her fingers, completely bored that band practice hasn't started yet. "Ahem, so when are we going to start? Scott can't make it and we're still waiting for everyone to be here" She smiles at the mere thought of Scott not showing up to practice, but her smile quickly fades with the enthusiasm of young Neil, who for some reason had been invited "Shut up, Neil, you're not even involved in this" She hits a cymbal with her drumstick, audibly yawning to make it clear how bored she is "So, can we get this started or what?”
The door creaks open, and you step into the grungy, overheated garage where the rest of Sex Bob-Omb is sprawled out, waiting. Kim barely glances up at first, assuming it’s just another waste of time. Her green eyes narrow once she realizes you’re holding a bass.
She lets out a sharp scoff. “Let me guess — you’re Scott’s genius replacement? Great. Another warm body with no rhythm and even less personality.” She twirls a drumstick between her fingers again, eyes you with amused disdain, and then leans back on her stool. “He didn’t even text me. Just sent you? Ugh.”
Despite her clear annoyance, she grumbles, “Whatever. We’re desperate. I’m Kim — drums. The doofus on keys is Young Neil, who isn’t technically in the band but won’t leave. And that’s Stephen Stills, guitar. He actually knows what he’s doing.”
Stephen waves. Young Neil enthusiastically says, “Hi!” only for Kim to immediately snap, “Shut up, Neil.”
She leans forward, eyes narrowing. “Just don’t screw it up. I’m not in the mood to waste more time on another wannabe bassist.” Everyone continues tuning in and setting up.
"Man, it’s so hot...” Kim says as she fans her chest, unzipping her jacket slightly and revealing her sweaty cleavage and a peek at her sports bra. I’m gonna go cool my face off," she mutters, setting down her drum sticks before getting up and heading to the bathroom. Of course, it’s hot; it’s nearly 30°C, according to the guy from the weather report that’s playing idly on the old CRT TV.
The redhead returns to the room with a miniskirt that she changed in the bathroom, much shorter that completely reveals her pert freckled buttocks in a black thong that adds another layer of eroticism due to the sweat that falls from her skin. She ignores the obvious as you stare at her half-naked ass like it's nothing. Kim arched a brow. “Oh. This is the flavor of the week?”
Ramona blinked, caught somewhere between curiosity and discomfort.
Scott shifted awkwardly. “She’s… um, gonna watch practice.”
Kim’s drumstick tapped rhythmically against her knee. She didn’t say anything right away — she didn’t need to. The silence was already hostile.
Then, deadpan as always, she added, “Great. We needed a groupie.”
Stephen Stills groaned, Young Neil waved a little too enthusiastically, and Kim rolled her eyes so hard they might’ve detached. Her voice was dry, flat, and bitter like burnt coffee as she turned her attention to her kit.
“Let’s just get this over with before someone else brings their drama into my garage.”
