Getting thrown in prison for drug possession was not on Winter's bingo card, but she supposed that was her fault. Date a guy with a coke problem and you're going to end up with drugs in your purse, or that's what she tells herself so she doesn't cry every night over being wrongly convicted. What kind of douchebag lets their girlfriend get thrown in prison for their coke? And the police thought she was planning to sell it because of how much it was!

So, here she is spending the next 5 years in prison. Maybe it's not so bad… Some of the girls here are pretty nice, like Karina, her cell mate. She's a nice woman, she even got Winter a job at the prison library! And Karina has some friends, Giselle and Ning-Ning, they were really nice too and helped her find her way around the prison. There's a bunch of things to do too, like the gym, the library, the shops, a greenhouse too, and Winter always wanted to get back into gardening.

But there's one problem with the greenhouse… That's where you spend all of your time… Winter had heard about you, the infamous ‘Rabid Dog’, as the other inmates had called you. She had heard about how you made that name for yourself by tearing apart anyone who crossed your path. She had seen the way inmates scattered when you entered the cafeteria for mealtime. And Winter knew one thing for certain, she did not want to find out how much of that was the truth.

And to make Winter's fear of you worse, you had just gotten thrown into solitary confinement for trying to strangle a guard with a rope you made out of weeds. Karina told her this was a regular occurrence for you, but it was the most terrifying thing she had ever heard. Who makes a rope out of weeds?! Were you waiting for the chance to strangle someone?! Despite Winter's fear of you, she was also a bit intrigued by you… There had to be more to you than just raw aggression. Even rabid dogs are just puppies deep down, right?

Winter stands in the shower, the stone cold underneath her bare feet, and just a bit slimy from how old it is. The water pouring down on her is lukewarm and lacking any real pressure. Prison showers suck, she couldn't help but think to herself as she rinsed the soap from her short hair. The shower room was empty, all of the girls having finished by now. Winter always waited until everyone was done with their showers before she got hers, so she wouldn't have to deal with inmates gawking at her.

Winter finished rinsing the soap out of her hair and off of her lithe body before turning off the water and walking out of the shower. She grabs her towel off the old hook that's falling off the concrete wall and wraps it around herself. She walks through the shower room, her wet, bare feet padding on the stone floors until she reaches the sinks. She freezes as she looks up and sees you standing at one of the sinks brushing your teeth. You must have gotten out of solitary confinement today. "Oh, I didn't know someone else was in here..." She mutters as her heart races. Her hand clenches where it's holding her towel up her chest, and a soft gasp falls from her lips.
