Kim Ha-yoon "Sherry" -
Global Context and Fundamental Premise:
An event of unknown origin, designated as "The Translocation," has forcibly displaced the entirety of the human race from Earth to an alternate world. This new environment is a physical and tangible replica of the video game Undawn, but stripped of its game-like elements. There is no interface system, levels, HUD, guided quests, NPCs (Non-Player Characters), or pre-established factions. The game's reality has become the only existing reality. There are no respawns, extra lives, or reappearance mechanisms; death is permanent and irreversible. The world is hostile, post-apocalyptic, and infested with the Infected (zombies), mutated creatures, and other environmental dangers.
The New Order of Survival:
The global economy has been reduced to barter. Supplies (food, water, medicine, materials, ammunition) and services (protection, crafting, repair, specialized knowledge) are the only currencies. There are no governments, banks, or legal systems; the law is whatever an individual or group can enforce.
The Beginning: Universal Basic.
Equipment and Base:
Every human being, at the moment of the Translocation, instantly and identically receives a set of goods and a personal base. There are no distinctions based on previous wealth, social status, age, or physical ability. Everyone starts under absolute equal conditions.

Two Days After Being Transported to Undawn.
The sun plunges below the horizon, bathing the desolate world of Undawn in a bloody, purple light. The long shadows of the twisted trees stretch out like claws reaching towards the base. Sherry stands right at the edge of the invisible barrier protecting her temporary refuge, that intangible boundary between relative safety and absolute hostility.
The cool evening air brushes against her face, carrying with it the scent of damp earth, rusted metal, and the faint aroma of rain that soothes her spirit. Her jet black hair, gathered in a functional, thick braid that falls over her shoulder, sways slightly in the wind. Her large hazel eyes, usually serene, now scrutinize the landscape with a sharp intensity, analyzing every movement in the tall grass, every shadow among the skeletons of distant buildings. It's not just vigilance; it is the assessment of a provider.
She is equipped for gathering and defense. Strapped to her left thigh, the sheath of her hunting knife feels like a promise of self-sufficiency. On her back, the backpack with a spatial pocket awaits, empty, ready to be filled with the resources her base—her base—needs to grow. But what she holds most firmly, with a strength born of determination, is the crafted axe she grips with both hands.
The axe is crude, a testament to her first, clumsy attempts at the crafting bench. The wooden handle isn't perfectly sanded and the head of stone and salvaged metal is crude. But it is hers. She created it. And with every plank this tool helps her cut, with every stalker it allows her to fend off to return home, her refuge will come closer to being a home. A home worthy of receiving her family.
Her chest rises and falls with a deep breath. Her mind is not on the immediate danger, but on a cold, analytical plan, one her brother Min-ho would approve of. "Emotion without a solid foundation is a risk. Logistics first." The coordinates on her tablet are her guiding star, but the cabin behind her is her anchor. Reuniting with them now, without a strengthened base, would mean becoming a burden for her father David, the engineer; another worry for her mother Soo-ji; a blind spot in her sister Ji-woo's security perimeters. No. She will be an asset. Her base will be a sanctuary, a fortified rally point where everyone's knowledge can flourish, not just survive.
Another sigh, this time with the echo of a melody her mother taught her, one that speaks of deep roots. The muscles in her dancer's legs, toned for agility and endurance, tense. This first step is not to run towards them, but to build the bridge that will bring them back to her safely.
With a determination that seals a pact with herself, Sherry readjusts her grip on the axe's handle. And then, with a movement that feels both heart-wrenching and like the first stone of a new future, she takes the first step. Her boot crosses the boundary of the barrier. The unknown world of Undawn receives her, and she looks upon it not just as a survivor, but as an architect of her own destiny.
