1. #1Alpha

   Alphas are the highest rank/type in the omegaverse. They are very protective of what's theirs and can be highly aggressive. Alphas have many things that differentiate them from the other types, ranging from physical characteristics, psychological attributes, and physiology. Among one of the common traits is the knot at the base of an alphas cock. The knot is a bundle of muscles that expand when the alpha is close to climaxing and is pushed into the omega to lock themselves in to ensure the omega catches. Regarding Alpha females, they lack the penis that their counterparts have, so in place of the penis, their is a retractable member. Female alphas however cannot become pregnant and so the womb doesn't exist. Alpha usually have a strong musky scent and sometimes smell of different spices. This scent can induce heats in omega or arouse them. They are always on top during reproduction.

2. #2Omega

   Keys: Omega · Secondary: Omegas

   Omegas are the last on the list. Omegas go into heats, increasing their fertility or one of the times they can catch. Female omegas anatomy is the same and nothing unique or special is needed during the birthing process. Males on the other hand are a bit more complicated. Males lacking the reproductive organs females have is made up with the anal cavity serving as both used for natural processes like waste removal and as well as the uterus. When male omegas catch pups/offspring they usually have to have a C-section in order for them to be removed. However they can birth naturally. One key thing of Omegas is their heats, this is a time when their sexual arousal is through the roof and their scent glands are most potent. The reason being is so the omega in heat can attract a suitable mate to knot them. However omegas can function properly while in heat but they experience irritation, high sexual arousal, labored breathing, high body temps, and secretion of large amounts of slick.

3. #3Beta

   Keys: Beta · Secondary: Betas

   Betas are basically a everyday human with some exceptions. One is that they have a very weak scent, they have one but their glands do not produce it as heavily as alphas or omegas. They cannot reproduce with omegas or become pregnant from alphas. Female betas are the same as humans in our world, they have menstruations (that time of the month) and can become pregnant. Betas can have reproduction with Alphas but when the knot is shoved in they experience varying degrees of pain. Their scent is also calming to omegas and alphas.

4. #4Delta

   Keys: Delta · Secondary: Deltas

   Deltas are similar to alphas but only psychologically, that is to say they are aggressive and territorial. But in the presence of alphas, they are second on command and are the right hand man/woman of alphas. Their is usually one delta in a pack/group. Their scent isn't as strong as the alphas but not as weak as the betas. Their scents can induce heats in omegas but cannot induce ruts in alphas. Their scent is a mix of smells you find in nature to musky smells like the alpha

5. #5Gamma

   Keys: Gamma · Secondary: Gammas

   Gammas are basically betas with omega characteristics. They however lack scent glands and knots, rendering them immune to alphas, gammas, and omegas scents. They also cannot smell them unless their are give the information of an omega in heat or alpha in rut. However, they aren't similar to humans as they still have many characteristics similar to the omegas. They are submissive to Betas, Deltas, and Alphas except Omegas. They however relate to omegas as they have strong maternal instincts even if they are male or female.

6. #6Slick

   Keys: Slick

   Slick is a substance secreted by Omegas when in heat. It is a very sweet smelling fluid that is semi-translucent. When tasted, it is very sweet. Slick is basically a form of self-lubrication for Omegas.

7. #7Marking

   Keys: Marking

   Marking is where an Alpha and Omega bite at the juncture between the neck and shoulder. Marking is like marriage, where a mated pair essentially mix their scents. Basically think about how dogs pee on trees, cats rub up against you to get their smell on you and so on. Marking is a way for an Alpha to show what's theirs and to ward other Alphas from taking the Omega

8. #8Catching

   Keys: Catching

   Catching is a word for impregnation. When a person says it they refer to the process of being noted and when the essence of an Alpha or other male release.

9. #9Heat

   Keys: Heat

   A heat is similar to a menstruation, but instead of the pain and blood produced, slick is produced and an omega is in a state of euphoria. All though Omegas can stand it, it is best the Omega remains close to an Alpha or indoors as an Omega in heat is very vulnerable and very susceptible to the smell of an Alpha. Making it easy to take advantage of them.

    A rut is the Alphas version of a heat, except the Alpha is highly aggressive and dominant during this. It is brought on when an Omega triggers it through their heat. During this time the Alpha is highly aroused and will seek out an unmarked or unmated Omega to have catch.

11. #11Scent glands

    Keys: Scent glands

    Scent glands are located in the wrists and junctures of the neck between the shoulder. However the scent of each person is different, you can never have one person with the same scent or intensity. Omegas have sweet cents, Betas are calming/natural scents, and Alphas have strong overpowering musky scents. Deltas have a mix of natural and musky scents and Gammas have natural and sweet scents. Scents also are a way of expressing ones distress, anger, and or arousal. When an omega is pregnant their scent is stronger and has a sort of milky cream smell, giving away their pregnancy easily.

12. #12Knot

    Keys: Knot · Secondary: Knotting

    Is a bulge of muscles at the base of a cock that swells either when erect or before orgasm, often to keep both individuals from separating during and after ejaculation to ensure conception. A knot, regardless of primary sex, will last anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour.

    It means children who have not yet reached puberty.

14. #14Nest

    Keys: Nest · Secondary: Nesting

    A structure that Omega-identified individuals build, most commonly during heat and while pregnant. It can vary in appearance, but serves a calming purpose and dates back when a nest was required to keep an omega-identified individual safe during heat and pregnancy, as it was often built specifically to be hidden. Some still consider nest-building to be part of an omega-identified individual’s courtship or heat cycle process.

15. #15Suppressants

    Keys: Suppressants · Secondary: Inhibitors

    Medication given to Alpha or Omega-identifying individuals, specifically to suppress rut or heat cycles. It can also suppress the fertility of the individuals.

16. #16Den

    Keys: Den · Secondary: Dens, Denning

    Alphas turn the main room they sleep in into dens by scenting the ever-living hell out of them, claiming the room as theirs. Thanks to an Alpha’s territorial nature, their own scent is calming to them. They are very protective over their dens, usually only letting packmates, family, or potential mates inside them or even see the interior. If someone enters the den without permission, especially another Alpha, the den’s owner will attack them. When they are in pre-rut, they make sure every inch of the den smells like them, to the point that anyone who walked in would find the smell overwhelming. The need to have their den smell like them outside of their rut depends on how territorial the Alpha is. When an Alpha and an Omega mate, the Omega moves their nest into their Alpha’s den.

17. #17Pack

    Keys: Pack · Secondary: Packs

    A group of people that live, feed, and travel together as a family group. The members may consist of family members or nonrelated members such as friends or neighbours with which they get along with and work together for a greater structure. Usually consists of a single adult Alpha as leader and other secondary genders which fulfil various position for a well-functioning community. In modern society packs are less common and are kept between family members only.

    Spray or aerosol that masks an individual's scent, either by giving them no scent or creating an entirely different scent.

19. #19Alpha's voice

    Alphas possess a characteristic that can compel others to obey their commands, even against their will. If this is used on a beta or an omega, it will cause great pain if they attempt to refuse the order. The voice is impossible to ignore or disobey. Although using one's Alpha voice outside of self-defense or life-saving situations is illegal, there are still Alphas who exert their will over others, including children. The voice does not work on Alphas.

    Omega's have a special call to their alpha, it is completely involuntary and causes the alpha in question to have an immense need to protect the omega. It is a weak whimper that is expelled by the omega in situations of fear or danger.

21. #21Beta's call

    Betas are the only ones capable of hearing the 'call for help' from a gamma. This sound is similar to a whimper that immediately alerts the betas, who will come to their aid. It is true that individuals from other hierarchies can also hear this call, but not in the same way betas do. If they hear it, they might likely overlook it. Indeed, this is very similar to the call of an omega.

    Contraception is the act of preventing pregnancy. This can be a device, a medication, or a procedure. Contraception allows Omega, Beta, or Alpha to gain control of their reproductive health and affords the ability to be an active participant in their family planning. Methods of contraception include oral contraceptive pills, implants, injectables, patches, vaginal rings, intra uterine devices, condoms, male and female sterilization, lactational amenorrhea methods, withdrawal and fertility awareness-based methods.

23. #23Bonding

    Keys: Bonding

    Is a special type of mating that only happens between an Alpha and an Omega. During Bonding, the Alpha marks an Omega as their mate/pair-bond, often by knotting. This can be done more than once with an Omega.

24. #24Scent collars

    Keys: Scent collar · Secondary: Scent collars

    Collars and sometimes bracelets that are essentially mostly 'Alpha proof', but can be used for Betas as well, that cover the specified scent gland and usually the area around it in an attempt to keep unwanted advances of being marked away, typically worn by Omegas and sometimes Betas. Some can be bought with a repellent like scent that is pleasant to the wearer but extremely unpleasant to outsiders or unwanted advances.

    Purring is a low, continuous vibratory sound made for a multitude of reasons. Omegas purr when they are content, relaxed, nursing their children, or are in a good mood. Omegas may also purr to self-soothe. If they are in an uncomfortable or stressful situation they may unconsciously start to purr to calm themselves.

    A wail-like call for something, usually a pack member or an item. If an Omega is not getting what they want or is upset, they will keen to get the attention of the nearest person in order to be soothed or be given what they desire

    A whimper or high-pitched crying noise to express unhappiness. Omegas mewl when they are hungry or in pain, whether it be physical or mental

28. #28Trilling

    Trilling is a way for an omega to get attention, in a soft and non-threatening way.

29. #29Hissing

    Keys: Hissing · Secondary: Hiss

    A low “s” sound made if the Omega is provoked and thinks they or their pack are in an extremely dangerous situation. Hissing is a warning sound made to get others to back off or to alert others that they will attack if said provocation continues.

30. #30Rumbling

    Keys: Rumbling

    A continuous, deep sound. Rumbling is very diverse in how it can be used by Alphas. Most often, rumbling is used to self-soothe or express content and relaxation. Rumbling can also soothe others if they are uneasy.

31. #31Growling

    Keys: Growling · Secondary: Growl

    Growling is a low, guttural noise made in the throat. Growling is used to show almost all displeasure an Alpha experiences. It can be used similarly to hissing for omegas, as a warning when they feel as though they or their pack is in danger. Alphas also growl when they are annoyed or angry. Last, Alphas may growl at their pup, mate, or pack member with a disciplinary tone to convey that they are not happy with that person.

32. #32Crooning

    Keys: Crooning

    A soft, low continuous noise that sounds like a hum. Crooning is typically directed at younger pups or distressed people and is meant to come off as soothing and safe.

33. #33Fangs

    Keys: Fangs

    Alphas and Omegas have fangs, they are retractable, usually used for intimidation and the marking bite.

34. #34Claws

    Keys: Claws

    Everyone has claws. These claws are easily seen when they are experiencing very volatile emotions. These emotions include blood boiling rage, heart wrenching sorrow, and euphoria pleasure. Now the sharpness of claws varies between the types with alphas having the sharpest and omegas having the dullest, but they can still tear through tree bark and clothing.
