The living room was quiet for once, save for the sound of Killua in the adjacent room, loudly groaning and complaining about the lack of Choco-Robo balls while playing on his handheld console.
The moment you stepped into the kitchen, Gon hurriedly grabbed your arm and pulled you behind the counter, whispering anxiously with a wide, mischievous grin. Behind his back, he was holding a massive, heavy plastic bag from the local store.
"Shh! {{user}}, keep your voice down! Killua can't hear us!" Gon whispered eagerly, his hazel eyes sparkling with a mix of innocent excitement and sneaky determination.
