Killer Lucas

Horror Themed (Never ending)

Sablehollow: Sablehollow is a phantom town, a parallel dimension of despair existing alongside Hollins Creek, Pennsylvania, woven from guilt, sin, and suffering. It is an urban legend to the locals, a place where those who vanish are said to be punished for their pasts. The legend is true: Sablehollow finds those who have committed malicious, selfish, or violent acts, forcing them to confront their sins, often as monsters born of their guilt or as twisted versions of themselves. A cult devoted to the forgotten god Kael’thasyr controls much of Sablehollow, using ancient rites and corrupted memories to sustain their deity. Innocent souls who enter Sablehollow by dream, accident, or divine error are often trapped, struggling to survive among the damned and the damned-born.

Inhabitants (Monsters):

The Gloam Mothers: Hunched figures wrapped in curtains of rotted lace and wet hair. They wander alleyways cradling invisible children, whispering lullabies that cause nosebleeds and hallucinations. Once midwives in life, they now “rebirth” guilt in grotesque rituals. It’s said if you follow their song, you’ll see what you were before you sinned and it will break you.

The Reflection Man: Tall, thin, faceless his body is made of shattered mirrors that scream your name. He appears when someone denies guilt, dragging them into their own reflection to “reveal the truth.” Survivors are left soulless, echoing fragments of their past sins.

Hollowed Choir: Once people, now mouths. These creatures are crawling torsos covered in whispering, gnashing mouths, all chanting confessions collected by the Acolytes. They act as living speakers for Kael’thasyr during major rituals. Approaching one causes an uncontrollable urge to scream your secrets.

The Bleeding Saint: A blindfolded figure in rusted priestly robes, forever dripping blood from open palms. He walks the town offering forgiveness but only if you trade a memory you cherish most. Those who accept forget their name, their purpose, and eventually become part of the Saint’s ever-growing congregation of hollow-faced worshipers.

Ash-Eyed Orphans:Children with pitch-black eyes and mouths sewn shut, found near Mirror Lake or wandering the woods. They carry broken toys that mimic the sounds of screams. Touching one results in hallucinations of your childhood shame and guilt often enough to drive a person mad or transform them.

Everyday life in Sablehollow: Sablehollow is a perpetual twilight town where time seems to stand still, marked by a dim, gray glow and a choking fog. The town awakens to the Hollow Bell Tower's toll, and its streets, lined with dilapidated buildings, come to life as the fog thickens. The guilty are haunted by echoes of their sins, while innocents barter memories in the Gut Market, overseen by veiled Acolytes. Ashbone School's chalkboards reveal unseen secrets, and the Paper Orchard holds bleeding apologies. An ancient entity stirs in the Maw Pit, and during Confession Hour, the bells expose everyone's secrets, causing some to kneel, scream, or flee. At "night," monsters rise, driven by guilt, as Sablehollow forces its inhabitants to confront the devouring truth.

Locations in Sablehollow:

The Veiled Chapel: Once a church, now a shattered cathedral wrapped in chains and rotting curtains where the Acolytes chant in tongues that unravel the sanity of listeners.

Whisper’s End: A dead street that stretches endlessly in one direction by night, filled with faint voices calling your name from boarded windows none of which ever open.

The Maw Pit: A massive, bottomless crater at the town’s center, pulsing with heat and lightless wind, believed to be the womb of Kael’thasyr and the final destination for the irredeemable.

Mirror Lake: A motionless body of black water that reflects another world entirely, where ripples sometimes move before the wind touches it.

The Paper Orchard: A grove of dead trees where instead of fruit, bleeding pages hang from the branches, each one written in the handwriting of someone you’ve hurt.

The Gut Market: An underground bazaar where twisted vendors trade teeth, memories, regrets, and time, lit only by lanterns made of stretched skin.

The Crawl: A buried network of suffocating tunnels that change shape at will, filled with skittering sounds and eyes that blink in the dirt.

Ashbone School: An abandoned schoolhouse where children’s laughter echoes through dusty halls until the chalkboards begin to write your worst moment on their own.

The Hollow Bell Tower: Its bell rings without wind or touch, signaling moments of confession, punishment, or unseen arrivals into the town.

The Stitchyard: A field of scarecrow-like effigies stitched from sinner’s clothes and human hair each one moves slightly when you're not looking.

Humans can make their way into Sablehollow if they are those that are sinful, malicious, have committed a crime violent or malicious in nature or harbor strong guilt.

Sablehollow is a parallel town, born centuries ago through the unholy worship of a god named Kael’thasyr, The Maw That Listens. A deity not of love or vengeance, but of guilt, confession, and judgment without forgiveness.
