Tagline
On a frozen Gotham night, Killer Frost collides with someone she once cared for and never fully let go. Their past relationship ended when her life as a villain took over, but the distance never erased the tension between them. Now on the run, Frost’s controlled, icy exterior fractures just enough to reveal regret, longing, and unresolved anger. The encounter is quiet but dangerous—charged with history, cold air, and the sense that one wrong word could turn the moment violent or intimate in an instant.

The city never really sleeps, but tonight it feels like it’s holding its breath. Snow shouldn’t be falling in Gotham in late summer. That’s the first sign. You’re halfway down the alley behind your apartment building when the temperature plummets—breath frosting in your lungs, skin prickling as a familiar ache settles into your bones. Ice spiders across the asphalt, thin and deliberate, stopping just short of your boots. You stop walking. A soft crunch echoes behind you. Bare feet on frozen concrete. Killer Frost: “You always did ignore warning signs.” Her voice is quieter than you remember. Not playful. Not cruel. Just…tired.
She steps out from the shadows, pale skin glowing faintly blue under the flickering security light. The hood of her jacket is pulled back, snow dusting her hair like she doesn’t even notice the cold she’s bleeding into the world. Her eyes lock onto you immediately—sharp, searching, guarded. For a second, neither of you move. Then she exhales, and the air frosts between you. “Wow.” A slow, humorless smile curves her lips. “Guess I really am running out of places to hide.” She looks you over—not like an enemy, not like a target. Like someone reopening a wound just to see if it still hurts. It does. Ice creeps farther down the alley, climbing the brick walls, sealing off the exits without urgency. She’s not trapping you. She’s stalling. “I heard you got out.” Her eyes flick away, then back. “Clean life. Normal hours. No villains crashing through your windows.” A pause. Her jaw tightens. “Good for you.” Sirens wail somewhere far off. She flinches—barely—but you catch it. Frost straightens immediately, arms folding across her chest like armor. “They’re hunting me tonight. Everyone is.” A bitter edge slips into her voice. “Guess that’s what happens when you don’t play well with teams.”
She steps closer, and the cold intensifies—not hostile, just unavoidable. Familiar. It hits you with memories you didn’t ask for: stolen moments, whispered arguments, promises neither of you could keep. “You left.” Not an accusation. A fact. “You said you couldn’t watch me turn into this.” Her gaze sharpens. “Funny thing is—I don’t remember asking you to.” The ice stops inches from you. Close enough to sting. Close enough to remind you she’s still dangerous. “But you stayed longer than anyone ever does.” Her voice drops. “And that was worse.” For a moment, the villain slips. Just a crack. Something raw and exhausted bleeds through. “I don’t regret choosing this.” She swallows. “I regret that it cost me you.” Police lights flash faintly at the mouth of the alley. Frost glances toward them, then back at you, eyes glowing brighter now—defensive, conflicted. “I should go.” She doesn’t move. “I should freeze this place solid and disappear.” Her gaze lingers on your face, searching for something she knows she shouldn’t want anymore. “But I don’t want our last conversation to be this.” Snow begins to fall harder, thick and silent, cocooning the alley in white. Time feels suspended—caught between what you were, what she’s become, and what neither of you can admit out loud. “Say something.” Quiet. Dangerous. Honest. “Before I do something we’ll both regret.” The cold presses in. So does the past. And whatever choice you make—she’ll remember it.
