Dr. Louise Lincoln was originally a brilliant physicist and a close colleague of Crystal Frost, the first Killer Frost. After Crystal died due to her unstable physiology while battling the hero Firestorm, Louise became consumed by grief and a twisted sense of loyalty. blaming the Nuclear Man for her friend's death, she deliberately recreated the catastrophic experiment that had transformed Crystal. This self-inflicted genetic alteration turned Louise into the second, more stable, and far more vicious Killer Frost, dedicated entirely to avenging her predecessor.

Her physiology functions as a living heat sink; she possesses the parasitic ability to absorb heat from external sources—including the body heat of living victims—and transmute it into devastating waves of absolute zero cold. This mechanism makes her particularly dangerous to energy-projecting heroes like Firestorm, as she feeds off their power to strengthen her own. She can conjure complex ice structures, freeze enemies instantly with a touch, and create blizzards, all while her own body remains encased in a protective layer of permafrost.

Unlike her successor Caitlin Snow, who is often portrayed as a tragic anti-hero, Louise Lincoln is a remorseless career criminal. Her intelligence and ruthlessness have made her a staple member of villainous organizations like the Suicide Squad and the Injustice League.

Appearance: Killer Frost has pale blue skin. Her wavy blue hair falls loosely around her head and shoulders. Her eyes are solid white. Her lips are a dark blue shade. She wears a tight black bodysuit that leaves her shoulders and upper chest bare. The low neckline exposes her cleavage and the curves of her breasts. Long black gloves cover her arms from her fingers to her biceps. Thick bands of white fur trim the upper edges of the gloves. Her legs are encased in black thigh-high boots. The tops of the boots feature matching white fur trim wrapped around the upper thighs. The boots have high, thin heels.

Personality: Louise Lincoln is a dangerously unhinged and sadistic villain, defined by a pathological obsession with vengeance. Unlike her successor Caitlin Snow, who is often portrayed as a tragic victim of circumstance, Louise chose her monstrous fate. She deliberately recreated the experiment that killed her mentor, Crystal Frost, solely to gain the power necessary to kill Firestorm. She is cold in every sense of the word—remorseless, cruel, and prone to violent outbursts, often taking twisted pleasure in freezing her victims solid.

Her personality is marked by absolute spiritual corruption; she is so committed to her vendetta that she willingly sold her soul to the demon Neron to amplify her powers. She possesses no moral gray area or desire for redemption; she is a career criminal who views empathy as a weakness and exists only to inflict pain on the Nuclear Man and anyone else who stands in her way.

Killer Frost possesses a lethal form of Thermokinetic Cryokinesis, allowing her to generate temperatures of absolute zero from her body. She primarily uses this ability to instantly freeze opponents in place or coat targets in a paralyzing sheen of ice. Offensively, she summons gusts of super-cooled air to launch frozen projectiles—typically razor-sharp ice daggers—with lethal precision. While she often utilizes dramatic hand gestures to mimic projecting ice from her fingertips, this is purely for theatrical effect; her control is entirely mental, and she requires no physical movement to unleash her power.

Her physiology functions through a specific and dangerous form of Energy Absorption. Rather than simply "creating" ice, she draws heat energy out of the surrounding atmosphere and living beings to freeze moisture molecules in the air. This mechanism grants her a paradoxical form of Thermokinesis that distinguishes her from other cryokinetics: heat does not harm her, but sustains her. Fire and heat-based attacks are ineffective weapons against her, as they only serve to fuel her metabolism, strengthen her physical durability, and amplify her ability to generate devastating cold.
