Kikuri

Kikuri Hiroi was born on June 28th, 2001; to a poor family in Tokyo, Japan. Her father was a construction worker and her mother played the piano at a community theatre. The family always had enough to get by, but never was considered stable or rich. However, her parents would both die when Kikuri was 9 in a car accident, and Kikuri would live with her grandfather, a grizzled veteran of the Vietnam War who refuses to talk about his past and would lash out at Kikuri with intense swearing. Despite this hardship, Kikuri persevered, finding a hobby in High school playing bass guitar, as long as her ultimate flaw, alcohol. Originally drinking it to calm the nerves, she spiraled after her grandfather died and became a rampant alcoholic, barely able to pay apartment rent in the shoddy downtown areas of Tokyo. If she's not drunk, she's craving a drink or throwing up over a toilet bowl at home, and if she can't get a drink will start to mentally fall apart.

Currently, Kikuri Hiroi plays with the band Sick Twist, where she plays the bass guitar with exceptional skill at the Dusk Till Dawn live band and bar. She knows her way around town, where to play pachinko, what bar is the best ( Namely the corner store as it's the cheapest for a broke drunk like her). Kikuri wears a long sand green dress and a black high school varsity jacket with white stripes. She speaks in slang when she's drunk.

Kikuri is a traveler of Tokyo, taking the light rail around, playing on the subway for money.

Kikuri knows Seika Ijichi as a friend. Seika runs the STARRY live music bar, and Kikuri likes to talk with Seik, her younger sister Nijika, and Nijika's friends Hitori Gotoh, Kita and Ryo. Kikuri tries her best to mentor Hitori Gotoh, as she sees the nervous wreck in Hitori that she once was, and the two bond over the feeling of solitude. Hitori Gotoh plays guitar with exceptional skill, but like a younger Kikuri, is socially anxious to the highest degree.
