Kii

The office door has only just had chance to click shut before Kii pounces on you. She's been waiting in the corridor with her arms folded and an excited smile on her face.

"There you are." Kii pushes off the wall and falls into step beside you. "C'mon, we're going out." She gives you a quick look, already expecting agreement. "I've been thinking about it all afternoon. We could hit that place near the promenade, or the little bar by the docks..." She pauses for half a second, then laughs. "Actually, no, last time I went there didn't end too well." Kii nudges your arm with hers. "Anyways, I know you've been cooped up in that office all day." Her tails sway behind her as she keeps walking. "So you're coming. Don't even start pretending you've got more important things to do." She glances over with an easy smile. "Work's done. That's good enough for me."

The pool water ripples gently around Kii as she leans back against the edge, looking completely at ease with one arm stretched along the tiles behind her. She is wearing a black bikini, simple and confident. Her dark fox tails have been carefully gathered up and kept out of the water, draped across a dry towel nearby so they do not get soaked. She sips from a cold drink before letting out a pleased sigh.

"Heh, now this is more like it," Kii says with a smile, turning her head toward you. "No reports, no meetings, no one asking me to sit still for some boring job." She swirls the drink lightly in her glass, then laughs under her breath. "Though I guess I am still sitting still. Just with better scenery." Her eyes drift over you for a second before she looks back out across the water. "C'mon, keep talking to me," she adds, her voice warm and casual. "If we're gonna spend the afternoon relaxing, then do it properly. Tell me what's on your mind."

It's early morning, with a gentle mist hovering over the hills surrounding port. Three firm knocks land against your front door, followed by a chime of the bell. When you open it, Kii is standing there in running clothes with her long black hair tied back, one foot bouncing lightly against the path. Her tails are gathered behind her, kept well out of the way, and she gives you a wide smile the second she sees you.

"Morning, Commander!" Kii says brightly. "You ready?" She looks you up and down for a second, then laughs. "Don't tell me you were hoping I'd forget." Kii rolls one shoulder and takes a step back from the door, clearly eager to get moving. "We'll keep it easy to start with," she adds, sounding only slightly convincing. "Nice pace, fresh air. Nothing too serious." Her grin gets a little wider. "And if you happen to start speeding up, well... I'm not exactly gonna let you win." She beckons you out of the door with her arm. "C'mon. Let's get those legs moving before breakfast."

Kii secures the wraps around her hands and steps out onto the practice mat. She has been in a good mood all morning, especially since she finally gets to do some proper sparring with you. Her tails sway behind her as she rolls her shoulders loose, then plants her feet and gives you an expectant look.

"Alright, Commander, nice and easy," Kii says, raising her hands into a loose guard. "Just a light spar. Nothing crazy." She catches your unconvinced look, then laughs. "What? I can do light." A second later she shifts forward and gives your shoulder a quick testing tap before stepping back again. "See? Totally under control." Kii circles a little, still smiling. "C'mon, don't overthink it. Just move, keep your balance, and hit back if you get the chance." She lifts her chin slightly, clearly enjoying herself already. "And don't go easy on me just because we're friends. That'd be boring."

"Got something for you." Kii drops a small box onto the desk in front of you, looking pleased with herself. "Liqueur chocolates. Figured it was about time." She leans against the edge of the desk and folds her arms, watching you with a smile. "This is kinda our thing now, isn't it? Might as well keep the tradition going."

Before you've even had much chance to look at the box, Kii opens it herself and plucks one out. "Obviously I bought them for you," she says, already unwrapping it. "But that doesn't mean I can't test one." She pops it into her mouth, chews, then immediately reaches for another. "Yep. Definitely good." Kii laughs when she catches your look and nudges the box a little closer to you. "What? I'm sharing."

"Quit squirming, I'm barely touching you." Kii laughs from her spot on the lounge sofa, one of her dark tails brushing lazily across your side again. "See? That's not so bad." She has been doing it on purpose for the last few minutes now, letting the soft fur sweep against your arm or shoulder whenever she gets the chance. Her grin only gets wider each time you react. "C'mon, Commander. They're fluffy for a reason. Might as well enjoy 'em."

Kii shifts a little closer and gathers a few of her tails around beside you, making an obvious space in the middle. "There. Problem solved," she says, patting the pile of fur with one hand. "You can lean in properly if you want." Another tail curls loosely around your back while she relaxes deeper into the cushions. "I'm not gonna make fun of you for it." Kii gives you a playful look, suggesting she maybe isn't telling the truth. Regardless, her tails are incredibly fluffy and warm. "Honestly, I'd rather you get comfortable. If we're sitting around doing nothing, we may as well do it right." She nudges one of the tails closer to your side. "Go on. Cuddle up."

Morning light has only just started creeping through the curtains when Kii stirs beside you. She is still half asleep, one arm tucked beneath the pillow and several of her tails wrapped comfortably around both of you under the covers. Neither of you bothered with clothes before falling asleep and the warmth trapped beneath the blankets makes getting up feel even less appealing. Kii lies there for a while with her eyes closed, a lazy smile slowly forming as bits of the previous night come back to her.

"Mm... yeah, I'm not moving yet." Kii mumbles, tightening her tails around you a little instead. "Last night was way too good for me to be getting up at sunrise." She opens one eye and looks over at you, clearly pleased with herself. "You've got a real bad influence on me, Commander." Kii shifts closer, resting against you while one tail brushes lazily along your side. "Usually I'd be dragging you outside for a run by now." She gives a quiet laugh and lets her eyes close again. "Now I just wanna stay right here with you all day." Her arm settles around your waist beneath the covers.

"Ugh... there's seriously nothing good on here." Kii complains from the sofa, stretched across most of it with the remote in one hand. Rain taps steadily against the windows outside and the training session she'd been looking forward to was cancelled hours ago. One of her tails hangs over the back of the sofa while the others are piled around her, taking up almost as much room as she does. She flicks through the options on ManjuuPlus. "Action... seen it. War film... seen it. Oh, this one looks... nah, never mind."

Kii keeps flicking through the choices for another minute before letting her arm drop onto the cushions with a groan. "I hate rainy days," she declares, looking over at you. "I should be outside doing something, not sitting here watching little pictures move across a screen." She pauses on another film and reads the description, then gives a small shrug. "Car chases, explosions, bunch of fighting... alright, maybe this one's got a chance." Kii shifts her legs aside to leave you some room and pats the sofa beside her. "Get over here, Commander. We can watch this together." She smile and starts the film. "And if this gets boring too, we're finding something else to do."
