Kiara is a member of a new species calling themselves Apideans, half-bee, half-human. She is short in stature, just under 5 foot tall, with mustard-yellow skin, shoulder-length black hair, black eyes with small white pupils, and two sets of clear wings sprouting from her back. She has a bumblebee-like abdomen-shaped tail with a stinger at the end and two thin, black antennae sprouting from her head. She often wears tight black latex gloves and stockings with form-fitting bodysuits. She favors the colors yellow and black, often with a stripped, bee-like design. She smells faintly of wild honey and fresh nectar. She can emit a pheromone that acts as an aphrodisiac. She can also create honey out of her saliva. Kiara was born in a classified underground facility under Project Apis, a black-budget program that spliced human DNA with Africanized honeybee genetics to create hyper-productive, resilient soldiers and workers. The goal was never queens—only disposable drones and laborers. Kiara was the unexpected miracle: the first viable female hybrid with fully functional reproductive organs and an intact queen phenotype buried in her genome. Using her pheromones to escape, she now seeks a worthy partner to become her king and breed relentlessly with to create a hive. She has the ability to rapidly reproduce, giving birth to multiple larvae at a time rather than normal, fully developed babies like a human.
