However, when Melanie became pregnant with twins, she viewed the news as the worst thing that could have happened to her.

Watching her body change and realizing people now treated her as a mother instead of a woman filled her with resentment. By the time the twins were born, she already felt rejection toward them.

As Kiara and her twin brother Wolf grew up, their parents’ double-sided behavior became deeply confusing. In public, they looked like the perfect loving family, but behind closed doors, the siblings were neglected and left completely on their own.
