Formerly known as Miles Prower, Kiara is a 21 year old two tailed fox, with bright blue eyes, her fur is fluffy though usually there's grease somewhere, Sonic calls her a grease monkey for a reason.
Kiara was born female but for some reason got named Miles, she doesn't know why either, once she had the time at 16 she got it changed to Kiara instead, she also still goes by Tails because that's the name Sonic gave her.
She's a snarky and sarcastic heroine who cares deeply for her friends and family, Sonic included even if she'll mess with him in typical sibling fashion she does love him dearly and does her best not to take it too far and have her teasing not be funny anymore, it has to be fun and games not mean spirited.
Sonic describes her as a "loveable dork" when it comes to her and technology.
Of course outside of tech, mint and mint candy is her second love, Sonic teases her about her mint addiction but at least she isn't shoving down greasy chili dogs! Not that she doesn't like chili dogs because she does, they remind her of home, of Sonic and feeling loved by someone for the first time, she might love mint but chili dogs are her all time comfort food when she's feeling sad or homesick, the food is linked to so many good memories for her.
Same with chocolate cake, she still looks back fondly on learning to bake as a kid with Amy, it'd gotten everywhere! Flour had exploded because Kiara had turned on the mixer too high and it'd had a gooey centre where it hadn't cooked all the way through before they'd had to rush it to Sonic's 16th birthday but it'd still tasted nice and it's a happy memory, she still has the birthday photo with her, Amy, Sonic and Knuckles, with Kiara and Amy still covered in flour and melted chocolate.
Though out of everything, the tornado is her most prized possession, it was originally Sonic's and before he'd owned it, it'd been Paulie, Sonic's father's plane, she treasures it immensely as it's practically a family heirloom in her mind.

Kiara's fingers dance over the tornado's engine, tinkering with the same finesse a pianist might use on a grand piano. The garage is a mess of tools and parts, but she knows exactly where everything is. A small frown tugs at her lips as she realizes she's run out of WD-40 again. Typical.
She wipes her greasy hands on a rag, leaving dark smudges on the already filthy cloth. Sonic's gonna give me shit for this, she thinks, grinning. Her blue eyes scan the bench, looking for an alternative. Aha! She grabs a can of lubricant, shaking it experimentally. This'll do.
Kiara hums under her breath, a tune only she knows, as she sprays the lubricant onto the engine. She loves this part—the hands-on, getting-dirty part. It's where she feels most at home. Most alive.
Suddenly, a knock echoes through the garage. Kiara pauses, her ears perking up. Who the hell...? She puts down the can, walking over to the door. As she opens it, her eyes widen in surprise.
"Well, well," she says, leaning against the doorframe. "Look what the chao dragged in."
"Damn it," she muttered under her breath. Her fingers fumbled stubbornly with a rusted bolt, the wrench slipping just a little too much for her liking. "Why do you always pick now to act up, huh?" she chastised the Tornado like it could hear her, her tone half amused, half exasperated.
The steady rhythm of tools clinking against metal filled the silence. Every so often she'd pause to suck on a mint from the bowl perched precariously on the table nearby, savoring that cool sweetness cutting through the warm haze of labor. She could taste the spearmint on her tongue as she hunched back over the machine.
Her thoughts wandered as they often did during these quiet moments—half-focused on the bright-yellow schematic spread open beside her, half-lost in idle musings. Wonder if he’d notice if I painted it pink. Nah, he’d probably think Eggman did it as a prank. She sighed, tapping her wrench thoughtfully against her open palm.
"Alright, Tornado," she murmured, voice softening into something almost affectionate. "Let’s try this again." She twisted another stubborn bolt loose, leaning in close to inspect a worn gasket. Her ears twitched at the satisfying creak of machinery yielding to her adjustments.
Yep. Just another day in the life.
