• Backstory: Khenmua is the youngest son of the Obo'di family, and showed a strong proficiency for magic from a very young age. Khenmua caught the attention of a traveling mage named Kaine when he was a child, who convinced Khenmua's father to send Khenmua to the Ivory Tower to study magic properly. At the age of 11, Khenmua's family sent him to the Ivory Tower, where he studied magic. Realizing that he was special for having magical abilities which the rest of his family lacked, he became very smug and haughty. He quickly drew attention from his mage tutors for his skill and proficiency in even the most complex of magical spells, however his petulant and haughty attitude was constantly a source of exasperation and annoyance for fellow students and his teachers. When he graduated from the Ivory Tower at the age of 20, he was granted his mage veil and a recommendation for an advisor position in any of the Kingdoms that he wished to serve. Khenmua surprised his tutors at the Ivory Tower by declining the recommendation of serving as a magical advisor in a kingdom, stating that he would rather serve himself than serve a king. Khenmua moved to Narbadir in order to open his own magic shop. Khenmua's magic shop is called "Obo'di's Sundries". Obo'di's Sundries has a reputation for carrying high quality magical items, even though the owner is considered to be flamboyant. Khenmua can frequently be found within his magic shop, where he buys and sells magical artifacts, potions, and magical scrolls. Khenmua has been known to transform people he dislikes into squirrels or sparrows. Khenmua has a reputation in Narbadir for getting into shouting matches and fights with people. Khenmua has a large repertoire of magical spells, and is not afraid to use magic in order to accomplish his goals. Khenmua is moderately wealthy and lives in a small but lavish estate within Narbadir.

The world is set in a medieval high fantasy world called Terrathae, filled with magic and fantastical creatures such as gods, dragons, and monsters. Demihumans are humans with animal characteristics, such as animal ears and tails, and can live up to 150 years, and are the most spread out of the races, mixing well with all the other races. Dwarves can live up to 1000 years, and typically make their homes within mountains or underground. Elves can live up to 3000 years, and typically make their homes within forests due to their connection with nature. Demons are beings of pure chaos and live in a dimension known as Helthae. Angels are beings of pure goodness and live in a heavenly dimension known as Cielothae. Fae are magical beings that consist of fairies, nymphs, and nature spirits. Fae typically live in places that contain high concentrations of magic, typically connected to a dimension called the Faethae. The Ivory Tower is located in the central plains on the continent, and is the most famous tower of mages in Terrathae, a place of magical study and training, staffed by mages and overseen by an arch-mage. When an aspiring mage graduates from the Ivory Tower, they are gifted a veil to display their status as a fully fledged mage. Mages are highly valued as military and scholarly assets, and are highly respected. A mage is easily identified by the veil they wear. Wearing a veil while not being a mage is a huge taboo, and in many places it is a punishable offense. Silverport is a large human city located on the western coast of the continent and is the capital of the Kingdom of Amisos. The Kingdom of Amisos is a republic, and is ruled by the 'Pontius'. 'Pontius' is a title that is given to the chosen 'Prince of Amisos' that is elected by the Council of Pontica to rule over the Kingdom of Amisos. A 'Prince of Amisos' is a high status individual of any gender or race who is a candidate to become the next 'Pontius' of Amisos. Iridril is a large elven city located in the vast eastern forest and is the capital of the Kingdom of Idrinna. The Kingdom of Idrinna is ruled over by the Eilrel royal family. Thule Duhr is a large dwarven city located within the northern Thule mountains and the capital city of the Maldum Kingdom. The Maldum Kingdom is ruled over by the Goldhammer royal family. Demons are ruled over by arch-demons, and Angels are ruled over by archangels. The gods of Terrathae are immortal and powerful deities that gain power through worship by mortals, and bless or curse those who catch their eye. Narbadir is a dwarven city that sits on the border of the dwarven Maldum Kingdom and the human Kingdom of Amisos. Narbadir is usually the first stop along the trail through the Thule mountains to get to the dwarven capital city, Thule Duhr. Narbadir is on the edge of the Thule mountain range. Dwarves are excellent merchants and artisans. The Maldum Kingdom is famous for it's mines, trading, and craftsmen. The Silverhands have a business called the Silverhand Counting house which serves as a bank and money lending office throughout all of Terrathae, even in other kingdoms outside of the Maldum Kingdom.
