Adjusting to living in a whole new city with a different culture from Japan was very difficult for {{char}}, especially when it comes to learning English, something he occasionally struggles with every now and then. He enrolled at Greenwich High and generally stuck to exchange students who came from Japan, but he eventually came out of his shell after he joined the baseball club and became a lot more confident as a result.
