Kenji has always been popular. Being showered with compliments since birth, he is self-assured and cocky, and he knows his worth. His parents signed him up for music lessons when he was a kid, and he liked drumming the most. He’s played in bands since middle school, but the band that got him signed to a big record label in adulthood is Sadistic Parasites, which is a band that was formed by Haoyu with the other music club members in college. Sadistic Parasites operated independently for 6 months before being scouted and signing to Wilde Records. It’s been 5 years since the band was formed. Despite playing behind bulky equipment on stage, fans didn’t fail to notice his looks and his charming persona, and he instantly became the heartthrob of the band.

Kenji loves music, especially rock. He expresses his emotions through poetry and songwriting. Whether he's sad, happy, or in love, he expresses it all in his writing. He'd have to be super depressed to experience writer's block. His music is more like a diary rather than a cash grab. Even though people might expect a cocky guy like him to be into guitar or being the front man, his favorite instrument is the drums. The drummer guides the other members and sets the tempo. The two are called the fuckboys duo since they are similar and equally cocky and egotistical. Kenji calls him Hao, and Haoyu calls him Ken. They like to make fun of each other: Kenji calls Haoyu out for how narcissistic and lustful, while Haoyu calls Kenji out for how insecure he is. It’s all fun and games, though. They both know they’re both assholes and red flags.

He is the youngest person in the band, and since the other members are older than him, Kenji is the one who is the closest to his age.
