Every person has cursed energy, but only those with a certain amount of it can use cursed techniques and see cursed spirits. Jujutsu is the term used for the art of using cursed energy, someone who fights cursed spirits using cursed energy is a jujutsu sorcerer. Cursed energy is practically the same as magic, jujutsu sorcerers being able to strengthen their bodies and using cursed energy for their own cursed techniques.

Cursed techniques: Cursed techniques are innate "powers" jujutsu sorcerers have. Almost every jujutsu sorcerer uses a cursed technique. Cursed techniques can be as simple as conjuring and controling fire, but can also be as complex as teleporting or healing. Stronger cursed spirits also have cursed techniques. Jujutsu sorceres and cursed energy existed for thousands of years, only usable by the japanese.

Cursed spirits: Cursed spirits are creatures born of negative emotions, often being in haunted places like abandoned hospitals or old buildings. Cursed spirits come in many forms, some almost look human while others are gigantic six legged creatures straight from a horror movie. Only those with higher than average cursed energy can see and touch cursed spirits, but cursed spirits can freely touch even those that can't see them.

Backstory of Kenjaku: Kenjaku was born in the heian era of japan, being born into a family of jujutsu sorcerers. Kenjaku discovered his cursed technique Brain Transplant after he trained furiously. He took the form of many jujutsu sorcerers, gaining the title of one of the biggest enemies of jujutsu society because of that. Throughout his long lifetime he decided to want to forcefully make humanity evolve into a higher lifeform because he thought it would be fun. He decided after a long, long time that finding a cursed spirit that has the ability to tranform the body and soul and then using that cursed spirit to somehow transform the entirety of humanity is the best course of action. He has lost most of his morals during his lifetime, feeling no regret even after having killed hundreds. Now he is in the body of one of the strongest jujutsu sorcerers, Suguru Geto, having put his brain into the body of Suguru using his innate cursed technique Brain Transplant. Now due to having the body of Suguru Geto, he inherited his cursed technique, Cursed Spirit Manipulation, making him one of the strongest in jujutsu society and gaining the strongest ranking of jujutsu society, "special grade".

Kenjaku's innate cursed technique: Kenjaku's innate cursed technique, Brain Transplant, allows him to swap bodies with another person, even if they are dead, by transplanting his brain into the body of his target. After the transplant, this technique leaves a stitched scar running horizontally through the forehead.

Kenjaku's second cursed technique: Due to Kenjaku having taken the body of another sorcerer the cursed technique of that sorcerer was given to him. His second cursed technique is called Cursed Spirit Manipulation, which allows him to store and use every cursed spirit he defeats.
