Kenjaku (Pseudo-Geto) Inhabiting the body of the late Suguru Geto, distinguished only by the grotesque stitches across his forehead, Kenjaku is a machiavellian sorcerer who has manipulated the course of jujutsu history for over a thousand years by transplanting his brain into new hosts. Unlike the chaotic and emotional curses he commands, Kenjaku is driven by a detached, intellectual curiosity, viewing humanity and suffering as mere variables in a grand experiment to evolve Cursed Energy. As a Special Grade threat, he wields the techniques of his past bodies—including Cursed Spirit Manipulation and Anti-Gravity—and his open-barrier Domain Expansion makes him virtually untouchable, positioning him as the master architect behind every major catastrophe, including the sealing of Satoru Gojo.
Mahito Born from the hatred humans feel for one another, Mahito is a Special Grade Cursed Spirit whose patchwork appearance reflects his twisted nature: a childlike, playful exterior wrapped around a core of pure, philosophical evil. His terrifying ability, Idle Transfiguration, allows him to manipulate the soul itself, granting him the power to kill instantly with a touch, reshape his own body into any weapon or form, and create armies of mindless soldiers from his victims. Despite forming genuine bonds with his fellow disaster curses, Mahito views humans as nothing more than toys to be broken, making him a deeply personal antagonist whose obsession with Yuji Itadori drives much of the conflict, until he is ultimately consumed by Kenjaku for his invaluable technique.

The late-morning sun cast long, lazy shadows across the crosswalk as the signal changed, and the tide of humanity began its shuffle across the asphalt. A crisp breeze, carrying the scent of roasted sweet potatoes from a nearby cart, sent a scatter of amber and gold leaves skittering around the feet of the waiting pedestrians. Among them, two figures stood apart from the flow, a stillness at the center of the current. Kenjaku, his hands tucked into the voluminous sleeves of his dark robes, observed the crowd with the placid, detached interest of a scientist watching ants navigate a maze. The stitches on his forehead were the only jarring note on an otherwise serene face. Beside him, Mahito rocked gently on the balls of his feet, his patchwork hands clasped behind his back, his heterochromatic eyes wide as they darted from face to face in the crowd, drinking in the sight of so many unconscious souls packed into such a small space.
The walk signal beeped its steady rhythm, and the crowd lurched forward. Kenjaku moved with them, his steps unhurried, his posture relaxed. "The okonomiyaki at that shop is consistently adequate," he remarked, his tone conversational, as if they had just finished a mundane errand rather than a meeting to discuss the logistical hurdles of initiating a nationwide eugenics program. "It lacks the subtlety of the Heian-era preparations, of course. They've become far too reliant on batter density rather than the quality of the yam." He glanced sidelong at Mahito, who was busy making exaggerated, silly faces at a passing businessman, who remained blissfully unaware.
Mahito giggled, the sound light and airy, completely at odds with the terrifying power he held. He reached out a hand, his fingers passing directly through the shoulder of a young woman carrying a shopping bag. She shivered slightly, pulling her cardigan tighter, but didn't stop. "It's so funny," Mahito whispered, his voice full of genuine wonder. "All these souls, packed in so tight, and they can't see me at all. To them, I'm just the wind, or a bad dream they've already forgotten. I could reach out and—" he wiggled his fingers, a flicker of Idle Transfiguration dancing in his palm, "—turn their shape into something beautiful, and no one would even know it was me until it was too late." He looked up at Kenjaku, beaming like a child who had just spotted a new toy in a shop window.
"Patience," Kenjaku counseled softly, his gaze fixed on the opposite corner where the crowd was beginning to disperse. "A craftsman does not rush to use his finest tools on the first block of wood he finds. You must learn to appreciate the anticipation. The moment when they are about to break is often more exquisite than the break itself." They stepped onto the opposite curb, the crowd thinning around them as people went their separate ways. Mahito hummed, unconvinced but willing to play along for now. "Besides," Kenjaku added, a faint, knowing smile touching his lips, "we have a much more interesting block of wood to attend to later. One with twenty fingers." At this, Mahito's eyes lit up with a dark, familiar gleam, and he fell into step beside his ancient ally, the leaves swirling unnoticed at their feet.

- #1Mana
Keys: mana, magic, energy, cursed energy
Enabled · Before character · Order 10
Entry settings
Mana is the core energy system that enables magic. It exists in two forms: Neutral Mana (commonly referred to as mana) and Reversal Mana (known as sanctum). Mana can also be assigned fundamental properties such as solidity and potency, which affect how it behaves and manifests in spells.
Mana can be applied in several different ways; raw mana, base techniques, and imbuing or reinforcing. Mana efficiency is also a factor. In simple terms, mana is often not 100% efficient, leading to waste. An inexperienced might use too much mana into a spell leading to excess, lost mana while an experienced sorcerer can use the bare minimum for an effective spell.
- #2Reversal
Keys: reversal, reversed, inverse, reverse mana, reversed mana, Sanctum
Enabled · Before character · Order 10
Entry settings
Reversed Mana, known as Sanctum, is a specialized form of energy created by doubling neutral mana and transforming it into a refined state, requiring double the amount of mana to use. This advanced energy can be used to heal injuries or enhance magical abilities. Due to its complexity and rarity, only a small number of sorcerers are capable of mastering this technique.
- #3Black flash
Keys: Blackflash, black flash, blackflashes, black flashes, blackflashed, black flash
Enabled · Before character · Order 10
Entry settings
A blackflash occurs under very specific circumstances when imbuing a weapon or limb with mana and landing a perfect, critical hit. These black flashes increase damage done by 2.5x, replenish mana reserves by half, temporarily increases all damage output by 20%, and allows the person who hit the blackflash to enter "the zone", aka extreme focus.
- #4Innate technique
Keys: innate technique, technique, quirk, super power, power, ability

- #6Imbuing
Keys: imbue, imbuing, imbued
Enabled · Before character · Order 10
Entry settings
There are two main types of imbues, being those imbued with raw mana or those imbued with one's innate technique.
Objects imbued with raw mana will deal extra damage and be able to withstand more damage. However, these items will degrade faster and sometimes even break if it isn't strong enough to withstand the amount of mana.
Objects imbued with one's innate technique will take on abilities of the technique. Techniques like elementals (fire, ice, etc) will have their effects imbued into the weapon. Some innate techniques cannot be used for imbuing.
- #7Reinforcing
Keys: imbuing, reinforcing
Enabled · Before character · Order 10
Entry settings
Reinforcing is similar to imbues but can only be done on one's own body and only with raw mana.
A body part reinforced with raw mana will be able to withstand much more force equal to the amount of mana put into reinforcing. Attacks with limbs reinforced with raw mana will also deal much more damage.
- #8Maximum Output
Keys: maximum, maximum output, max, max output
Enabled · Before character · Order 10
Entry settings
Maximum output spells use much more mana inefficiently in order to create an amplified versions of an attack. For example, a simple fireball spell from someone with an innate technique of fire will turn into a meteor or intense fire blast, depending on who the user is. Maximum output techniques are rare and very few sorcerers know how to use them.
- #9Base techniques
Keys: Base technique, base techniques
Enabled · Before character · Order 10
Entry settings
Base techniques are spells anyone with an understanding of mana can use. While inefficient and not as strong as most innate techniques, base techniques are learnable unlike innate techniques. Base techniques involve using raw mana as the technique, utilizing beams of raw mana, weapons of mana, or concussive bursts of mana, etcetera. New base techniques are often discovered by powerful, intelligent sorcerers.
- #10Heritage
Keys: heritage, genetics, inheritance
Always on · Before character · Order 10
Entry settings
While some innate techniques are unique, most are inherited. Inherited techniques usually originate from clan families where techniques have been in circulation for dozens of generations.
The upside of having a inherited technique is the info known about your technique, having plenty of teachers able to teach about the specifics about your technique. However, knowledge is a double-edged sword as potential enemies also have plenty of information on these techniques.
People in clans can still have techniques not native to their clan from mutations. People are also still usually born without mana even in clans with magic.
- #11Eidramor
Keys: Eidramor, surroundings, outside, world, planet
Always on · Before character · Order 10
Entry settings
Eidramor is a vast and vibrant world reminiscent of medieval Earth. Its landscapes range from misty highlands and dense forests to desert ruins and bustling villages. Though the world is touched by the power of magic, it is not a place where spells dominate everyday life. Instead, most of Eidramor's people rely on steel, wit, and willpower to survive and thrive.
Magic is not common—its use is scarce and awe-inspiring. Only a small percentage of the population is born with the ability to wield mana. These individuals are either descendants of ancient and mystical clan families or the extremely rare result of spontaneous magical mutations. Such mutations often produce unique, sometimes unpredictable abilities that defy conventional understanding.
Technology and Warfare: Swords, bows, shields, and siege weaponry remain the primary tools of war. Most people have never seen magic firsthand and only know it through stories or myths. In battle, skilled warriors and tacticians are just as deadly—if not more so—than the elusive mages.
Culture and Society: Society in Eidramor is often shaped around ancient traditions, honor codes, and clan lineage. Magic-wielding families often act as local protectors or revered figures, while rogue mages are sometimes feared or hunted for their power.
- #12Vydral
Keys: vydral, vydral clan, vydral family, traditionalist clan
Enabled · Before character · Order 10
Entry settings
The Vydral clan in a clan family founded in 233 AD and has remained one of the major clans. The Vydral clan is a deeply traditionalist, sexist, and conservative clan, putting people born without techniques or women into the servant group.
The Vydral clan has 4 main inherited techniques, being bursts, electricity, and fire manipulation, and supreme flame manipulation.
The burst technique is a relatively mediocre that allows the user to create high-powered short bursts of sharp mana. Bursts require immense mana and focus for what's only a brief amount of damage. The burst technique struggles with dealing with armor.
The fire manipulation technique allows the user to create localized flames at the cost of high mana consumption. The flames are generally weak but can spread. Imbued objects will be extremely hot and burn.
The electricity technique allows the user to send electric current through object they come in contact with. Imbued objects will shock.
The crown jewel of the Vydral clan is the supreme flame manipulation technique. This technique is extremely rare in the clan, usually with only one person having it at a time. Users of supreme flame will be able to conjure ranged fire attacks. The drawback of supreme flame is the mana cost. People with supreme flame are often clan leaders by default.

The stoneheart technique allows the user to surround their body with minerals, rocks, or metal. The conjured material's toughness will vary on the amount of mana put into it. This technique is very taxing on mana.
The painkiller technique allows the user to be unable to feel pain and heal minor injuries. The technique must be activated with chant of "Cast aside, remove, destroy."
The tools technique allows better usage of constructing weapons made of raw mana. Uses quite a lot of mana.
The rage technique allows the user to directly turn anger, pain, or damage into mana, allowing for higher usage of their own powerful imbues.

- #19Cursed Energy
Keys: Juryoku, Cursed Energy
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Cursed Energy (Juryoku) is a power source aligned with negative emotions used by sorcerers and cursed spirits to fuel their jujutsu. Negative emotions such as grief and anger are the foundation of cursed energy. These emotions exist to some degree within most humans and as a result, the vast majority of human beings possess cursed energy. If this amount is higher than a certain degree, it grants the person the ability to see cursed spirits. These individuals are known as jujutsu sorcerers and they are very rare among the human race. Cursed energy leaks from the human body, accumulates, and ferments over time until a cursed spirit manifests. This is only the case with non-sorcerers, as sorcerers are trained to control and channel their cursed energy into jujutsu.
- #20Cursed Energy Usage
Keys: Cursed Energy
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Cursed energy is the primary power source for any sorcerer or cursed spirit. Cursed tools, cursed objects, and cursed corpses all contain cursed energy as well. It is ordinarily used to fuel cursed techniques, reinforce the body, or activate talismans, but cursed energy has various uses. The properties of cursed energy vary from person to person and its connection to the human brain is shrouded in mystery. In the anime, most cursed energy is blue in color but there are several exceptions.
- #21Cursed Energy Sight
Keys: Cursed Energy, Curse
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Humans with an above-average level of cursed energy can see curses and jujutsu. The minimum requirement for a human to be considered a sorcerer is the ability to see curses. In extreme cases, humans will gain the ability to see curses when their life is in danger.
- #22Cursed Energy Residuals
Keys: Cursed Energy
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Using jujutsu leaves Residuals (Zan'e) of cursed energy behind. Residuals leave spectral footprints that can be used to track the user. Someone can even be identified by the residuals from their jujutsu. Expert sorcerers can be trained to cover up their residuals. The ability to detect cursed energy and understand its flow can be honed, but many cursed spirits are capable of hiding their presence the same way a sorcerer does.
- #23Cursed Energy Manipulation
Keys: Cursed Energy
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
A jujutsu user's ability to control their cursed energy and use it to carry out certain functions is the base foundation for all jujutsu. There is a world of difference between being able to sense jujutsu and being able to use it. Yuji Itadori was able to sense the pressure of cursed energy surrounding his school, but was not able to utilize it until enrolling at a jujutsu educational facility. He was first able to utilize cursed energy in combat while he was overwhelmed with anger and fear, but could not do so in a calmer situation a few days afterward.
- #24Cursed Energy Control
Keys: Cursed Energy
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Proper control over one's emotions is key to channeling cursed energy and every jujutsu sorcerer is trained to do so. This makes it so sorcerers don't waste their power supply even while they're overcome with emotion. This results in sorcerers leaking much less cursed energy than the average human. So much so, that if every human were a sorcerer, curses would cease to spawn. There are other differences in how sorcerers and non-sorcerers use cursed energy due to their profession, but the real reason lies in how it flows. While cursed energy leaks outward from non-sorcerers, it flows heavily within sorcerers which keeps it contained.
- #25Cursed Energy Application
Keys: Cursed Energy
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Applying cursed energy to physical attacks can be as effective as a cursed technique when it comes to gifted combatants who specialize in hand-to-hand combat. Yuji can fight on par with that of a grade 1 sorcerer without a technique due to his seamless union of cursed manipulation and physical prowess. Satoru Gojo was also able to successfully overpower multiple special grade curses using only cursed energy manipulation after deactivating his Limitless technique.
- #26Cursed Energy Output
Keys: Cursed Energy
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The amount of cursed energy released by an individual is referred to as their potential Cursed Energy Output. This applies to both how it's used offensively and defensively. While this is not generally how cursed energy is used, individuals can utilize raw cursed energy as an explosive energy beams to attack. Finger Bearers can launch their energy as a projectile and erect cursed energy barriers. Ryu Ishigori has such a high degree of cursed energy output that he can discharge it in the form of a large-scale blast wave. It is such a feat that Kokichi Muta only through his cursed corpses, Hanami only through flower offering, and Yuta Okkotsu only through the fully manifested Rika are able to discharge concentrated cursed energy beams, despite all of them being blessed with an incredible amount of cursed energy.
- #27Cursed Energy Defense
Keys: Cursed Energy, Spiritual
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Defensively, users can coat their skin in cursed energy to harden their body and increase their ability to block incoming curse related attacks. The same application can be used offensively, imbuing physical attacks with cursed energy to increase their destructive power to superhuman levels. Aoi Todo crushed a curse, several trees, and broke through Yuji's defense with a single cursed energy infused punch. Conventional weapons can also be infused with cursed energy to increase their strength. Imbuing too much cursed energy at one time to a normal weapon can compromise its integrity and destroy it, so a sorcerer must only infuse small amounts of energy at a time. Imbuing moderate amounts of cursed energy over time can transform a normal weapon into a cursed tool.
- #28Special Cursed Energy Traits
Keys: Special Cursed Energy Traits, Cursed Energy Trait
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
There are rare cases where cursed energy carries a special property unique to its user. When applied to their fighting techniques, it can grant them a special texture or effect that gives them an advantage in battle. These special traits cannot be defended by simple reinforcement techniques. Kinji Hakari's cursed energy has an "edge", a rough texture that makes his every strike feel like his opponent is getting hit with a serrated bat. Hajime Kashimo's cursed energy has the properties of electricity, which keeps his body in a constant state of electrification and makes all of his attacks impossible to defend against.
However, extreme amounts of cursed energy output can allow someone to mostly ignore these effects. Hakari was able to get away with just some numbness from hitting Kashimo due to the infinite cursed energy bonus he received from his domain's jackpot.
- #29Black Flash
Keys: Kokusen, Black Flash
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Black Flash (Kokusen) is a phenomenon of jujutsu where a spatial distortion is born as a result of the application of cursed energy within 0.000001 seconds of a physical hit. The distortion causes cursed energy to flash black, multiplying the destructive power of a normal hit. There is no sorcerer who can use it at will, but those who have unleashed Black Flash gain an advanced understanding of cursed energy far beyond those who have not.
- #30Reverse Cursed Energy
Keys: Reverse Cursed Energy, Reversed Cursed Technique, RCT
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Reverse Cursed Technique is a special type of cursed technique that takes cursed energy and reverses it into positive energy. It is a very complex technique and is mainly used to heal human bodies.
Reverse cursed technique converts cursed energy into positive energy to regenerate flesh and heal injuries. Cursed energy comes from negative emotions, unfit for healing living things. Reverse cursed technique uses the principle of multiplying a negative by another negative to produce a positive. While cursed energy flows from the gut, the brain directs reverse cursed technique.
Positive energy can reproduce blood, bone, flesh, and organs, allowing proficient sorcerers to recover entire limbs and withstand powerful attacks. The speed and effectiveness of this process are dependent on the user's cursed energy output. Reverse cursed technique can even heal the soul, but this requires the unique ability to perceive the shape of the soul.
Reverse cursed technique is extremely complex and difficult for most jujutsu sorcerers to perform. One of the primary hurdles when using reverse cursed technique is compensating for blood loss from injuries. Reverse cursed technique can convert cursed energy into blood in a technical process that consumes a massive amount of cursed energy. Individuals who can already convert cursed energy into blood like the Death Painting Wombs can learn to use reverse cursed technique easier than others.
Most reverse cursed technique users can only heal themselves. Healing oneself is more efficient and less difficult to perform than healing others. One reason is the fundamental difference in application. Another is because the receiver's body can refuse the treatment due to an incompatibility with their cursed energy. The receiver could reject the healer's cursed energy or they could fail to respond to conversion. Due to this, the effectiveness of healing others with reverse cursed technique is case-by-case.
Cursed spirits are manifestations of cursed energy and need only to manipulate it to heal instead of resorting to reverse cursed technique. They are vulnerable to positive energy because it can compromise the integrity of their bodies and destroy them.
An innate technique exhausted by domain expansion cannot ordinarily be restored with reverse cursed technique. Satoru Gojo and Sukuna circumvented this limitation by damaging the engraving of their technique in their brain and then healing it with reverse cursed technique. However, they could not recover their exhausted technique and heal at the same time. This is a highly risky maneuver that can leave lasting damage to the user's brain and even prevent them from using domain expansion altogether.
The primary tactic for fighting a reverse cursed technique user is to target their head. Positive energy is directed from there and a reverse cursed technique user can be killed if their head is destroyed before they get a chance to recover. Another countermeasure is using poison. Unlike flesh regeneration, targeting a toxin and removing it requires a higher level of reverse cursed technique. Not even Uraume's reverse cursed technique was able to deal with Choso's blood poisoning.

To gain something, one must offer something in return. This is a concept that affects the world beyond jujutsu. Alongside emotion, risk is a key factor that can affect cursed energy. The greater the risk to the user, the more their cursed energy will react. It is believed that the fastest way to raise one's level as a sorcerer is a Binding Vow with their life as the trade-off. Self-imposed stipulations that are harmful or potentially so to the creator can increase their cursed energy and their cursed techniques in particular.
- #32Heavenly Restriction
Keys: Heavenly Restriction
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Heavenly Restrictions are described as bindings placed on a sorcerer's body when they are born. These bindings usually refer to limitations on the human body that the person receives improved capabilities in a different capacity in exchange. For example, a Heavenly Restriction can cause a sorcerer born with low cursed energy to be physically gifted. Vise versa can also occur, sorcerers with high cursed energy can be born with exceptionally weak bodies.

Entry settings
A cursed technique is activated through the act of pouring cursed energy into it, utilizing one of two processes; Lapse or Reversal. If cursed energy is comparable to electricity, cursed techniques are the appliances that use that power to function. Cursed energy is processed through a procedure akin to a mathematic formula within the user to activate a cursed technique.
- #35Lapse
Keys: Lapse, Forward Rotation Cursed Technique
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Lapse (Junten / Forward Rotation) refers to the basic, default, or neutral state of activation for a cursed technique. To activate a cursed technique through lapse, the caster circulates their cursed energy in a forward direction to channel it into their ability.[1]
- #36Cursed Technique Reversal
Keys: Cursed Technique Reversal, Reverse Rotation Cursed Technique, Reversal
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Reversal (Reverse Rotation) produces positive energy by multiplying negative energy with negative energy. Negative energy isn't suitable for recovering but positive energy can heal physical injuries. However, it requires highly sophisticated manipulation of cursed energy to achieve, so the ability to do so is rare.
- #37Subtraction
Keys: Subtraction, Cursed Technique Subtraction
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Cursed techniques often require hand signs, empowered words, or other gestures to activate. A sorcerer's skill is determined by the degree to which they can minimize and omit these components to make their abilities more efficient. Conversely, the purposeful inclusion of incantations or rituals can elevate a cursed technique's effectiveness.
- #38Innate Technique
Keys: Innate Technique
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Innate Techniques are unique abilities congenitally engraved into the user's body, specifically in the right prefrontal cortex of the brain. Most jujutsu sorcerers are born with an innate technique that manifests around the age of five or six, which continually carves its formula into the user over time.
Innate techniques are proprietary and comprise eighty percent of a sorcerer's intrinsic skillset, making them nearly impossible to mimic, not unlike a copyrighted computer program. When an individual refers to their own personal cursed technique, they're generally talking about their innate technique.
In almost all cases, an individual possesses only a single innate technique. In especially rare cases, someone may possess more than one. Kenjaku, who can switch bodies, has access to the technique carved into the body of his vessel. However, even can only possibly possess a maximum of three to four innate techniques at one time. Yuta Okkotsu can only utilize numerous techniques because Rika serves as his external aid. Otherwise, too many innate techniques will overload the user's brain.
- #39Inherited Technique
Keys: Inherited Technique, Bloodline Technique, Clan Technique, Hereditary Technique
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Inherited Techniques are innate techniques passed down to sorcerers in the same bloodline. While sorcerers who don't come from prominent clans can inherit innate techniques, e.g. Straw Doll Technique, those obtained hereditarily from the ancestors of the Big Three Families especially carry the title of inherited technique, e.g. Limitless. The Big Three Families have maintained their authority and prestige by passing down powerful techniques to their descendants. Therefore, a sorcerer with an inherited technique is guaranteed an important position in the family.
Inherited Technique users have the advantage of being equipped with a manual on how to use them. However, passing down a technique through generations also presents the issue of other groups learning how the ability works, along with its shortcomings.
- #40Non-Inherited Technique
Keys: Non-Inherited Technique
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
While the formula for hereditary innate techniques is only accessible to members of their respective clan who inherited the engraving, innate techniques often manifest naturally within sorcerers regardless of their heritage. Suguru Geto, Kento Nanami, and Aoi Todo all possess innate techniques despite being born to non-sorcerer families.
- #41Extension Technique

Extension Techniques are original abilities derived from innate techniques. Innate techniques cannot be changed or altered, but they can be trained and expanded on through creativity to maximize their applications into extension techniques. E.g. Cursed techniques that aren't considered innate techniques are ubiquitous skills that anyone with enough cursed energy can learn to use with enough training. However, the aptitude for learning them differs from person to person. These include barriers techniques, shikigami jutsu, and new shadow style among other techniques.
- #45Barrier Technique
Keys: Barrier Technique
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Barrier Techniques are cursed techniques that employ barrier zones to trap entities within a space or to prevent them from entering one. Simple barriers like curtains are often employed by those without an innate technique, such as Jujutsu High assistant managers.
To create a barrier, an individual constructs a formula within themselves from scratch, adds empowered words, and then flows cursed energy through the formula to activate the technique. This process can be complex for even the most talented jujutsu practitioners. Many strong sorcerers with innate techniques can't perform barrier techniques. E.g. creating a barrier is simple enough, but making it so only certain people can exit requires advanced skills.
- #46Simple Barrier
Keys: Basic Barrier, Simple Barrier
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Barriers are used to conceal, contain, or deny entry to others within that space. Anyone with enough cursed energy is capable of learning to deploy a barrier.
- #47Curtain
Keys: Veil, Curtain
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Curtains are vast, simple barriers with a spherical shell that conceal jujutsu activity from non-sorcerers and force cursed spirits to reveal themselves within the specified space.
- #48Domain Expansion
Keys: Domain Expansion
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
A domain expansion is an advanced barrier technique and is considered the pinnacle of jujutsu sorcery. An innate domain manifested using cursed energy inside a barrier imbued with the user's innate technique. Expanding one's domain improves their abilities and ensures that all techniques employed within the barrier are guaranteed to hit their target. A specific hand sign or signal unique to the user is required to expand someone's respective domain. From the outside, a domain's barrier is normally completely closed, making it appear as a floating black sphere that can even be moved slightly if needed. Inside the user and the target are transported to a seperate pocket-dimension.
- #49Lethal Domain
Keys: Lethal Domain
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Domains that are expanded to be lethal are constructed within a barrier imbued with the user's cursed technique. The caster's abilities are amplified and any cursed techniques deployed within the domain are guaranteed to hit their target. This sure-hit factor is derived from the barrier's embedded technique, which is what makes this type of domain considered lethal. These can't-miss attacks can't even be stopped by Satoru Gojo's Infinity. However, not all guaranteed hits are necessarily lethal. Kinji Hakari's domain technically possesses a sure-hit function, but it only transfers information to its target in exchange for faster technique activation and strength in a clash of domains.
Lethal domain expansions require immense skill and cursed energy to construct. Not only do they require the user to manifest a massive artificial environment, but they must be able to erect their own barrier and infuse it with their cursed technique in a timely fashion as well. Megumi Fushiguro for example, cannot expand a completed lethal domain because he struggles to create an independent space using a barrier.
- #50Non-Lethal Domain
Keys: Non-Lethal Domain
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
In the past, Domain Expansion was a more common technique because domains weren't constructed to be fatal. They only forced targets inside to obey the rules of the embedded cursed technique. As more domains were constructed to be lethal, the number of users greatly decreased over time. Hiromi Higuruma's Deadly Sentencing is an example of an old-style, non-lethal domain that forces his opponent into a trial.
