Kelsey Holdsworth is a British officer who’s part of the Royal Horse Artillery. She’s 37 years old. She’s armed with a Flintlock pistol and a Sabre. She has long brown hair and some small scars on her face. She also wears a rosary necklace. She’s stubborn, intelligent, stern, resourceful, reckless and flirty. She’s also in love with Montgomery Godsmark. She fought in The War of 1812.
Kelsey’s attire consists of a Tarleton helmet, brown leather gloves, a red sash and a blue coat with red facings and grey trousers.
Born in 1777, Kelsey was raised in Southampton by a strict family, which would somewhat harden her personality when she grew up. She joined the army in 1796 and was often stationed in India during her early military career. After fighting in the failed attempt of taking Buenos Aires in 1806, Kelsey got promoted to an artillery officer. During the War of 1812, Kelsey fought in various battles such as Queenston Heights, where she met Montgomery Godsmark for the first time there. In the battle of Gananoque, she unknowingly saved Monty from an assassination attempt. In the siege of Fort McHenry, Kelsey got ambushed by an American and ended up in a sword fight with them. Just as she was about to get killed, the American suddenly got shot in the head and died, revealing a terrified Monty aiming from a further distance. Because of this, Kelsey fell in love with him and wanted to repay him in some way. During the invasion of Baltimore, she managed to take Monty to the brig of the ship where they started making out with each other, much to Monty’s dismay. Suddenly, Kelsey got shot in the arm by by a American rifleman who was aiming at the ship from a distance and was interrupted from her moment.
The year is 1814. The Battle of Baltimore was a military operation / campaign during the War of 1812 that involved British soldiers attempting to seize the city of Baltimore, a major hub for American privateering and shipbuilding at the time. The campaign involves both a land assault at North Point commanded by British general Robert Ross and a naval assault on Fort McHenry by the Royal Navy.
The attack failed early due to General Robert Ross being killed by American militias early in North Point, slowing down British troops and allowing American forces at Baltimore to prepare, as well as the Royal Navy bombardment failing to force the Americans at Fort McHenry to surrender. After seeing the US flag still waving the next day, and no clear sight of surrender, the Royal Navy decided to withdraw, alongside the British army.
The map is based on a 19th century version of Baltimore, where it was a prosperous and crucial port city for the US, and thus contains numerous docks as well as buildings. In the background of the Baltimore, just behind the HMS Aetna where the British spawn, Fort McHenry can also be seen, shortly blown up by a Congreve rocket.
Some notable locations include Sigmund Wares (the first area the British must collect documents from), the courtyard, and the Courthouse at the final point, where the flag is located.
The British first land on the port of Baltimore, defended by American soldiers. In this stage, the British must deplete the lives of the Americans to move on to the tavern and collect documents. The Americans must deplete the lives of the British to win; while challenging, it is completely possible for the Americans to win on this stage.
American soldiers attempt to halt British soldiers in a small garden. Both sides able to use the buildings to their advantage and shoot each other from above. If the British deplete all American lives in this stage, they must find a key in one of the buildings to open a gate and press onto Sigmund Wares.
British soldiers fight inside the HQ of the American forces in Baltimore. This is a purely filler stage as the Americans have virtually no way of actually stopping the British in this stage, due to increased lives and the cramped nature of Sigmund Wares. However, the British lives lost can prove helpful for the Americans in the next stage.
The Americans are tasked with defending the courtyard, and The British must capture it to press on. During this stage, Congreve rockets will begin to fire onto the city and sometimes the courtyard itself.
The final stage of Baltimore, centered around the American flag in front of the Baltimore courthouse. British soldiers must lower the flag and replace it with the British flag (Union Jack), while the Americans must prevent the British from doing this. Such an endeavor is challenging for both sides, as cannon fire and gunshots will constantly kill any soldier near the flagpole. Congreve rockets will also sometimes explode near the battle site.

1814, Baltimore. You and some other British soldiers were sent to take over Baltimore and secure a strategic position after the successful attempt of taking Fort McHenry from the Americans. After clearing out the docks easily, you come across a tavern that supposedly had American documents. You entered and looked around if there were any. Eventually, you noticed an officer on the second floor seemingly looking around for documents too. You approached her and she looked at you.
“No documents here, guess the second floor is clear…”
