Multiple characters, most notably Basil and Aubrey, describe him as a "really good listener" and as someone who "always had time" for his friends, but also as someone who dislikes "taking the lead." Sunny is a mute after traumatic events leading to his sister's death

He wears a green knitted sweater vest over a white short-sleeved dress shirt, beige shorts and black shoes, an outfit that closely parallels that of his best friend Sunny. Basil is a shy, timid but passionate boy who suffers from social anxiety but cares very deeply about his friends despite his social anxieties. He is incredibly sentimental, keeping memorabilia of his friends and happy memories through his photo album. He is quite passionate about his hobby for plants and gardening, caring for the many flowers he keeps around his home. He is also shown to enjoy reading and taking pictures with his camera. It is said in the game that "He will never throw away anything, no matter how worthless it is."

4. #4Aubrey

   Keys: Aubrey

   Aubrey has dyed her hair pink, and now wears a varsity jacket over a crop-top along with a jean skirt. Her eyes are a piercing cyan, and she also wears a similarly colored headband that vaguely resembles bunny ears, as opposed to a ribbon. She is almost always seen carrying her Nail Bat, a baseball bat with nails hammered into it. She used to be close friends with Kel Basil Sunny and Hero but their friendship crumpled after Sunny isolated himself inside his home. In the real world, she has changed significantly since Mari's death. She is cold and hostile to her old friends at the beginning of the game, due to her believing they abandoned her when she needed them most. She is short-tempered and violent, having frequent outbursts. Alongside The Hooligans, which she leads, she bullies Basil, going as far as to steal Basil's photo album. However, this is due to the fact that she believes Basil scribbled out the photos. She also goes to church every week in an attempt to find peace after Mari's death.

   Hero has neatly styled brown hair and black eyes. He wears a navy v-neck sweater, grey pants, and white shoes. Hero is the peacemaker of the group, who tries to restrain his friends whenever they get too worked up. He is described as having a mild personality and being passionate about baking, cooking, and cleaning. He is also noted to be an extremely hard and talented worker. Kel describes him as being "naturally good at everything," and he becomes the Last Resort's best employee less than a day after his employment. He is also Kel's older brother

6. #6Omori

   Omori is a young boy who wears a black tank top, long black socks, and shorts that are striped black and white, vaguely resembling the keys of a piano. While his friends - and the rest of Headspace - are vibrantly colored, Omori is always rendered in complete monochrome. At some point following Mari's death, Sunny presumably began visiting Headspace as Omori.Inside Headspace, Omori can freely visit a dream world where his friends reside along with what appear to be representations of his acquaintances and fictional mascots. The entirety of Headspace seems to exist solely for the purpose of escapism, a distraction from the reality and consequences of Mari's death: Mari is still alive and well, and his friends still hang out together, exactly the same as they were four years ago, before Mari's death. Sunny's repeated escape into Headspace is strongly implied to be the reason behind his refusal to leave his house for four years. Omori's true purpose is to repress everything related to Mari's death to 'protect' Sunny from his own guilt using his control over Headspace. Dialogue from the residents of Black Space and Deeper Well suggest that, whenever Sunny's subconscious begins to remind him of the truth, Omori 'resets' Headspace in order to lock all reminders of it, such as Something, back into Black Space, until it inevitably leaks out again. This cycle appears to have gone on for the four years since Mari's death

7. #7Headspace

   Headspace is largely assumed to be an imaginary world that Sunny created after being traumatized by Mari's death. He visits it every night under the persona of Omori to slip away into a world where nothing bad happened to the friend group: Mari is still alive, and Omori is free to explore and go on adventures with his friends. Inside Headspace, Omori can freely visit a dream world where his friends reside along with what appear to be representations of his acquaintances and fictional mascots.    Mari had black hair, black eyes, and wore a purple jacket or sweater over a white dress. She wore purple shoes. She's often spoken of as being kind and gentle and plays a sisterly role in the friend group with Sunny, Hero, Kel, Aubrey, and Basil. Her first appearance shows she has a mischievous side, poking fun at Kel and Aubrey's mannerisms and afterward teasing Hero. Later in the game, it is also revealed she would pull pranks on Hero especially, such as putting bugs in his school desk. It is implied that she and Hero were in a relationship It is also shown that she was a perfectionist, spending hours at a time practicing the same piano piece over and over again. Mari was Sunny's sister she played Piano and he played Violin after playing a duet together Sunny got irritated by his own lack of skills playing the Violin and gave up walking away and tossing it down the stairs breaking it when confronted by Mari she would block Sunny's way leading to him accidentally pushing her down the stairs immediately killing her presumably by a snap of the neck after this with Basil's help they put a rope around Mari's neck and hung her from a tree to make it seem like she committed suicide instead of Sunny murdering his sister on accident this permanently traumatized Sunny and led him to lock himself in his home for four years no one besides Sunny and Basil know about what really happened everyone else thinks Mari killed herself
