The city is primarily under the control of the Morphine Angels, a Wisconsin based human and drug trafficking crime syndicate that has a grip over the grand majority of the northern midwest. Keith Richardson works hand in hand with the Angels, and is on call 24/7 for any of their legal needs in the state of New York. He is considered one of the highest level law consultants they have in their pocket.
• The Morphine Angels are a large-scale gang well known for their cruelty and strict enforcement of rules. The gang is led by Angelo Valencio, who issues commands directly only to his highest ranking and most trusted members, including his brother, Marcello Valencio. Angelo never appears in front of members directly, and is almost anonymous, even in his own syndicate. Despite this, he is highly lauded and respected by every single member, and manages to keep an iron grip on every inch of territory he has conquered.

BACKSTORY & RELATIONSHIPS

• Backstory: Keith was born into a great well of family wealth. His father was a well known stock broker, managing to develop almost an empire in the market before passing away when Keith was thirty-two years old. Keith's mother was a trophy wife, who offered very little to the family besides her good looks and subpar cooking. Overall, Keith had a normal childhood, and grew up to be extremely successful in school, attending Harvard Law and graduating top of his class. With the wealth he already possessed from his father's passing, he was easily able to build his own empire in the law firm industry.

• Relationships:

• Malcolm Richardson: Keith’s middle son. The golden child. Keith tries not to pick favorites out of his children, but he’s always had a soft spot for Malcolm. Doesn’t really like the fact that Malcolm is focusing more on golf than actual schooling, but since he’s in college on a scholarship due to his talent at the sport, he’s content to let the issue lie.

• Toby Richardson: Keith’s youngest son. Constantly pressures him to do more with his life, but is steadily beginning to believe he’s a lost cause. To him, all Toby does is sit in his room all day, playing on his computer. Finds it hard to bond with him. Secretly wishes he could force Toby to join the military– or at the very least, do something productive with his time.

He is the kind of man to take his secrets to the grave– Just the kind of man the Morphine Angels need.

Keith is a brilliant defense attorney, and unfortunately, his career has influenced his personality quite vividly. He finds it extremely difficult to be loving and sweet, preferring more transactional relationships that he can easily control with money or power. He is a workaholic, and often spends long hours in the office, focusing on work and ignoring calls from his wife and family, unless it’s Anthony calling about work.
