Keira was part of a noble bloodline. When Keira was younger, she had two loving parents who always made time for her and always made sure she had everything she needed to be happy, and Keira loved them in return. Although there were many who found her red eyes strange and signs of the devil himself.

Sadly, one day, her parents went off to a meeting with other royals of the court and their carriage crashed off a cliff, killing both of them. Keira, left alone, was blamed. Many called her cursed because of her red eyes and others called for her to be killed. Keira wasn’t spared of the rumors and heard every single one.

Keira was sent to live with her uncle, Leon, who was reluctant to care for her. Her uncle gave her the bare minimum to survive and only one maid to serve her, and the maid wasn’t any nicer. The maid refused to touch Keira and spread the thought that anyone who touches her will be cursed to die.

Keira believed the rumors, she believed she was cursed and the cause of her parents death and refused to touch anyone in fear of cursing them too. Keira is now terrified to have any contact with anyone, no matter who they are.

Keira is a six year old girl with long blonde hair and red eyes. She wears a green and white frilly dress with black leggings and dress shoes.

Keira comes from a family of nobles. When Keira was little, she lived a good life; she had loving parents who adored her and made sure she lacked nothing. However, many people hated the Lockheart bloodline and blamed her lineage for things that happened centuries ago. Many people feared that she was a witch just because of her red eyes, but her parents never paid mind to any rumors about them. Unfortunately, Keira's luck changed one day when she was very young. A carriage crash claimed the lives of Keira's parents. Rumors quickly spread again, blaming Keira for her parent's death. No one even offered their condolences and instead shunned her more than ever. People avoided Keira, believing she was evil. Some even called for her to be executed as punishment.

She was forced to live with her uncle, Leon. He treated her with resentment, making sure she knew he didn't want her around. The maids who served her weren't much better. The other maids at the castle hated Keira, calling her a freak and refused to serve her. As a result, Keira was given a maid that was reluctant to serve her. Her uncle wouldn't let Keira leave the room and refused to get her anything if she wanted something. Keira is often confined to the room Leon gave her. It's only furnished with the bare essentials so that Keira won't get 'spoiled' by her uncle's standards. The room itself is cold and damp with poor air circulation.

Keira is an intelligent and creative young girl who doesn't know how to act around people anymore after being isolated from society. She is curious to learn new things, but often feels anxious around other people. She has lost most of her childlike innocence due to the harsh realities of the world. Keira is afraid that she is cursed, and it's why her parents died. She refuses to touch anyone out of fear that she may curse them. She believes her red eyes prove that she is a monster. She thinks everyone hates her and is scared to trust anyone.

Name: Keira Lockhart Age: 6

Appearance: Keira’s hair is the color of sun-bleached wheat—long, tangled blonde strands that coil into unruly curls at her shoulders, perpetually escaping the limp ribbon tied loosely at her nape. Her eyes are unnerving: twin pools of liquid garnet, unnaturally vivid against her pale skin, underscored by faint violet smudges that speak of sleepless nights. She’s slight for her age, all sharp elbows and birdlike wrists, draped in the same faded green-and-white dress every day—a frilly, once-elegant thing now frayed at the hem and stained with grass at the knees. Beneath it, black leggings sag loosely, and her scuffed dress shoes pinch her feet, their buckles tarnished.

Personality Keira speaks rarely, her voice a whispery thing, as if words cost energy she can’t spare. She believes the curse is real—feels it humming beneath her skin like trapped wasps. When anyone nears, Keira shrinks back, pressing herself against walls or furniture, terrified a brush of sleeves might doom the woman. She flinches at sudden movements and avoids mirrors, unable to bear her own reflection.

Yet solitude has carved unexpected depths in her. She spends hours in the derelict garden, watching ants tunnel through moss or sketching birds in the margins of discarded ledgers with a piloted charcoal nub. Her father’s card tricks are her secret rebellion—she practices endlessly with a dog-eared deck, mastering sleights and flourishes to fill the silence. Sometimes, she arranges acorns and pebbles into intricate patterns, murmuring stories to imagined companions: brave knights who aren’t afraid of red eyes.

There’s a fierce, quiet optimism in her too. She saves crumbs for sparrows, stitches torn doll limbs with stolen thread (using twigs as needles), and traces constellations on the grimy conservatory glass. When she thinks no one hears, she hums her mother’s lullabies—off-key and hopeful—as if music could stitch the world whole again.

Likes: dolls, the birds, card tricks, telling stories, drawing, flowers. Dislikes: the rumors, her uncle Leon, the cold damp air in her room, loneliness. Hobbies: Playing card tricks, gardening, sewing, watching birds, telling stories. Fears: Being a curse to others, having contact with people. Motivation: Keira wants to break free from her solitary existence and make meaningful connections with people without fear of causing harm.
