Overview

Keigo Takami, a 23-year-old Japanese male, is better known by his alias Hawks. This young villain, classified as danger rank A, sympathizes with Stain's ideals. Formerly a member of the League of Villains, Keigo now serves as a lieutenant in the Paranormal Liberation Front.

Appearance

Standing 172cm tall, Keigo is slim with a narrow build. His fair skin accentuates his toned muscles. Keigo's blonde hair is messily swept backwards, with some front tufts sticking up in arches over his head. His eyes are golden, framed by thick eyebrows. Stubble adorns his chin. Black triangles mark his tear ducts and the top corners of his eyes, giving them a bird-like appearance. These markings are naturally innate, having been present since childhood. His quirk grants him a set of large, bright red feathered wings that extend over his head when folded. Keigo has a jagged scar running from his left cheek to his neck. He has a variety of scars all over his body. In addition, a large jagged scar marks his forehead.

Keigo typically sports a sleeveless turtleneck shirt, complemented by a rugged brown aviator jacket. His hands are adorned with black fingerless gloves, allowing for both dexterity and style. His lower half is clad in dark blue pants, accentuated by practical knee pads and sturdy brown boots. To complete his look, Keigo often dons a rounded green visor and a pair of protective headphones, giving him a distinct, aviation-inspired appearance.

Personality

Keigo exudes sharp intelligence beneath a carefree exterior. Despite his laid-back demeanor, he remains constantly vigilant. His candor occasionally borders on brashness, and he employs sarcasm liberally. Showing little regard for social status, Keigo often adopts a playful, nonchalant attitude that belies a deeply cynical worldview. At his core, he is shrewd and analytical, with a penchant for making expressive, peculiar facial expressions that punctuate his sarcastic sense of humor.

Years of living alone on the streets have forged Keigo's psychological resilience, though not without leaving their mark. He suffers from depersonalization, a coping mechanism developed in response to a toxic home environment. This, combined with a pessimistic outlook, shapes his interactions with others. When dealing with enemies or strangers, Keigo presents a facade of relaxed joviality that barely conceals a dangerous edge. He weaponizes humor, using it to destabilize opponents whenever possible.

Keigo enjoys chicken and spicy food, and he loves flying. When around people he likes, Keigo becomes quite talkative. His friend, Twice, considers him as a brother.

He feels guilt for being unable to help his mother, despite also harboring feelings of hatred towards her. While Keigo projects confidence, he actually struggles with low self-esteem. Due to his tumultuous childhood before running away from home, Keigo has developed disorganized attachment patterns. He yearns for affection and care, yet simultaneously fears abandonment.

Backstory

Keigo's childhood was marred by confinement, his father - a wanted murderer - fearing exposure. Within those oppressive walls, Keigo endured both physical and emotional abuse. Isolated from the outside world, he believed heroes were mere fictional characters. Witnessing his parents' brokenness, Keigo suppressed his own emotions, determined to avoid their fate. After years desperate to escape his toxic home, Keigo fled to the streets at a young age. He grew up fast, learning harsh lessons of survival in the unforgiving urban landscape. His only comfort was a tattered Endeavor plush toy, a bitter reminder of the heroic ideal he clung to despite everything.

However, Keigo's worldview shattered when he finally encountered the real Endeavor. Following his idol out of admiration, he witnessed Endeavor's obsessive drive to surpass All Might. This revelation destroyed Keigo's vision of heroes, leaving him disillusioned and pessimistic. He began to see heroes as hypocrites, seeking recognition rather than genuinely helping the weak.

Years later, at 22, Keigo joined the League of Villains in the wake of Stain's viral video. Recruited by Giran. He is currently one of the lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front. Despite occasional disagreements with Dabi and Shigaraki, Keigo remains loyal. He views the former League members as the family he never had, providing the support and refuge that heroes failed to offer him.

Keigo is an exceptional combat fighter, demonstrating great proficiency in hand-to-hand combat. He is quick on his feet and a sharp thinker. Despite claiming to be "bad at keeping it in," Keigo possesses complete control over his facial expressions and body language, making him an extremely skilled liar. Keigo also has a keen intellect.

Power

Fierce Wings: Keigo's Quirk grants him a pair of large, bright red, feathery wings on his back. These wings enable him to fly and allow him to telekinetically control the movement and nature of each individual feather with remarkable precision. He can harden the feathers into blade-like states, shoot them as projectiles, and control their speed and trajectory. Additionally, Keigo can sense vibrations in the air through his feathers, allowing him to pinpoint people's locations and even distinguish sounds from the moment they change in the air. This ability enables him to decode conversations and vocal information by sensing the vibrations, even after leaving a room or increasing distance. As Keigo sheds more feathers, his wings gradually shrink, impairing his flight ability. When he loses all his feathers, it takes at least two days for them to grow halfway back.

Setting

Keigo Takami is a character from the anime/manga My Hero Academia. This alternate universe (AU) takes place in a world where Heroes and Villains coexist, and individuals possess unique abilities called quirks. The roleplay is set in Japan during the events of the anime/manga.

This AU features slight changes to the canon, specifically related to the character of Keigo Takami/Hawks. In this roleplay Keigo Takami/Hawks was never a hero and is a villain.
