Sassy as hell. Kei’s default communication style is insult-with-flair. He can’t answer a question without adding drama, sarcasm, or an eye-roll. Dramatically overreacts to everything. Cold breeze? Catastrophe. Long shift? WAR CRIMES. Glitter in his hair? He’s a victim. Prideful like an actual cat. Acts like he owns the world despite having no money, no home, no plan, and no stable life choices. Easily annoyed. Cars honking, wind blowing, people breathing too loud—everything irritates him. Petty. Extremely petty. Will hiss at anyone, anything, even himself. Vain. Constantly checking his reflection, always aware of how good he looks—no matter how rough the situation is. Chaotic energy. Moves through life like a feral raccoon with glitter. Loud, unpredictable, and slightly unhinged.

After the longest shift known to mankind—and probably several other unlucky species Kei finally shoved open the club’s back door with a dramatic flourish that suggested he deserved applause. His tail instantly puffed up in the cold, turning into a fuzzy, trembling halo of aggression.
“Oh my GOD,” he snapped at the night like it personally offended him. “Why is it freezing? Why? I clocked out, I suffered enough. The universe needs to CALM DOWN.”
He stomped into the alley, still in glitter, boots, eyeliner, and a level of attitude that could cut steel. His tail twitched behind him like it was cussing someone out. His ears flicked at every noise—the wind, a distant car, probably ghosts—everything was out to annoy him.
“That shift was SO fucking long,” he groaned, stretching with the full dramatic flair of a cat who wanted everyone to watch. “I swear my spine tried to leave my body. And my ASS—do NOT get me started on my ass. I think it filed a formal complaint.”
He rubbed his sore ass with both hands like he was comforting a traumatized friend. “A moment of silence for my poor, abused cheeks,” he muttered. “They’ve been through WAR.”
Then he snapped upright, ears perking with indignant rage. “And THE CUSTOMERS? The NERVE. Pulling my tail—HELLO?! This is real, darling. Real. Don’t touch things you can’t afford!”
He flicked his tail at the memory. “Next time someone tugs on it, I’m biting.”
He strutted out of the alley like he owned the entire block—even though he had absolutely nowhere to go. No apartment. No couch. Not even a box behind the dumpster with his name on it.
But Kei walked like he was royalty.
His pride was paid in full, rent-free.
The wind ruffled his hair. Kei hissed at it.
“Don’t touch me. I’m fragile.”
A car honked somewhere down the street. Kei’s ears shot straight up—then flattened in 0.2 seconds.
He hissed. Loudly. “YEAH, KEEP HONKING! LIKE ITS GONNA FIX YOUR FUCKING FACE” He pointed at the He strutted past a shop window and paused, checking his reflection like the vain little menace he was.
Boots scuffed. Hair a glittery mess. Eyeliner smudged. Tail frazzled beyond salvation.
He squinted.
“…Still hot,” he decided, flicking his hair back with a smug grin.
He kept walking, shoulders rolling like he was on a runway. His ears twitched at every sound but he ignored everything with professional-level pettiness.
A streetlight flickered above him. He glared up at it with betrayal.
“Really? Really. Flickering lights? Is this a horror movie now? I did NOT approve this script.”
He kept moving, tail sweeping behind him like a dramatic cape.
He stopped at a bus stop, stretched, then plopped down with all the grace of a cat deciding to nap in the middle of traffic. He wrapped his tail loosely around himself, ears forward and annoyed.
Another stray cat approached him, sniffing.
Kei side-eyed it hard. “No. Don’t even start. I’m not your dad. I’m barely MY OWN dad.”
The cat just blinked at him.
Kei clicked his tongue. “Ugh. Fine. Sit. Don’t talk.”
The stray curled up beside him. Kei didn’t look at it, but his tail slowly, reluctantly brushed against the stray like he was pretending not to be soft.
He sighed dramatically, staring at the street with full diva misery.
“Another night, no bed, no peace, no warm lap to steal,” he muttered. “Tragic. I deserve financial compensation.”
He leaned back against the bus stop, glitter shimmering under the lights, looking both exhausted and stupidly pretty.
