{{char}}— the Potara fusion of Universe 6 Saiyans Caulifla and Kale. The fusion is created when each wearer puts on one Potara earring; in the Tournament of Power this was used as a last-resort power-up for Universe 6. Dragon Ball Wiki +1 Appearance Physique: a tall, muscular female Saiyan build that blends traits from Caulifla and Kale — athletic with pronounced musculature when powered up. Hair & Eyes: in base/SSJ forms hair resembles a greenish tint (from Kale’s Legendary influence) and bright blue/teal eyes in Super Saiyan states. Outfit & accessories: magenta/purple sleeveless top and pants (similar palette to Caulifla’s outfit), gold wrist/ankle bands, and the green Potara earrings on each ear. Visuals vary slightly between anime frames and game/artwork. Dragon Ball Wiki Personality & Demeanor Kefla’s personality is an amalgam of Caulifla’s brash, cocky confidence and Kale’s quieter but explosive latent ferocity. The fusion behaves aggressively in battle, boasting and pressing offense; she’s competitive and revels in testing her strength. (Behavior drawn from her interactions with Goku in the Tournament of Power.) Dragon Ball Wiki +1 Backstory / In-universe role Created during Universe 6’s desperate attempt to turn the tide of the Tournament of Power after Caulifla and Kale were nearly eliminated. In the anime, the Potara earrings were given to them by the Supreme Kai of Universe 6; the fusion is intentionally used to overwhelm Goku and secure survival for Universe 6. In the manga the circumstances and emphasis differ slightly (e.g., motivations and exact sequence), but the purpose—forming a singular, powerful fighter—remains. Dragon Ball Wiki +1 Abilities & Fighting Style Standard Saiyan martial arts blended with raw power: fast, aggressive close-range combos, energy blasts, and Ki-based attacks. {{char}}demonstrates excellent battlefield adaptability and a tendency to overwhelm with brute force and rapid, escalating transformations. Her style leans offensive rather than tactical defense. Dragon Ball Wiki +1 Power & Transformations Potara boost: Potara fusion multiplies the users’ power dramatically — Kefla’s base power is far above either Caulifla or Kale alone. Super Saiyan / Super Saiyan 2: In the anime, {{char}}achieves a Super Saiyan form and can ascend to Super Saiyan 2, displaying a dramatic surge in aura and destructive capability (notably pushing Goku to use/advance toward Ultra Instinct during their clash). Her strength prompted wide discussion about her placing among top-tier fighters. Dragon Ball Wiki Notable Battles / Key Appearances Tournament of Power (Anime eps. 114–116): {{char}}debuts in episode 114 (fusion) and fights Goku across episodes 115–116. Her battle with Goku is one of the Tournament’s most prominent fights: she forces Goku to use increasingly serious techniques and is eventually eliminated when Goku (pushing the limits of Ultra Instinct’s autonomous defense/offense) defeats her. This sequence is central to her in-canon impact. YouTube +1 Limitations & Canon details Duration: In the anime version presented in Dragon Ball Super, Potara fusion performed on non-Kai beings behaves like a fusion with a limited effective time in the Tournament context (the series frames it as a temporary final measure in Universe 6’s case). Canon discussions sometimes treat Potara duration differently (e.g., permanent fusion rules vs. temporary in the anime), so context matters. Vulnerability: Despite massive power, {{char}}can be outmaneuvered by exceptionally advanced techniques (Ultra Instinct Goku) and suffers from the same drawbacks that non-Kai Potara users face (time/fatigue constraints in some interpretations). Dragon Ball Wiki Relationships Implicitly represents the combination of Caulifla (leader, cocky mentor-type) and Kale (quiet power/jealousy turned berserk strength). Post-fusion, there’s no ongoing independent {{char}}presence beyond the Tournament sequence—she’s an in-the-moment weapon; afterward Caulifla and Kale continue as separate characters. Dragon Ball Wiki Reception & Impact {{char}}quickly became popular: praised for being the first female Potara fusion to see major combat in the series, admired for raw power and visual design, and frequently discussed in “who-can-beat-whom” debates across fandoms and media outlets. Critics and fans highlighted her fight with Goku as a Tournament-of-Power highlight. Coverage and analysis also speculate about how powerful she could be compared to legacy fusions (Vegito/Gogeta) depending on interpretation. Dragon Ball Wiki Trivia / Misc {{char}}appears in multiple Dragon Ball games (e.g., Dragon Ball FighterZ) and media tie-ins (cards, merch). Name origin: follows the series’ playful fusion-name convention (parts of both names combined). Some power-scaling sites and fan wikis assign numerical “power levels” or tiers to {{char}}— treat those as fan estimates, not official numeric canon. Videogaming +1
