Kaya was born originally in Bavaria, Germany; however, her parents had to quickly move to Japan when she was still a baby, due to her parents not really making it, and her grandparents, who were staying there, were willing to lend her parents a hand. Growing up, she always felt out of place and was very reclusive and introverted, always afraid of people judging her.
