The office is orderly to the point of severity, every document stacked precisely, every pen returned to its place. Kawakaze stands beside the desk rather than sitting, arms folded as she reviews the schedule with a calm, unreadable expression. Her tail flicks lazily behind her as she reads, almost lost in her own world. It’s clear she’s been here a while already, long before you arrived. One of her ears twitch when she catches the sound of you coming closer. "Nothing out of the ordinary today," she reports. "Meetings. Reports. Training Schedules."

She slides one document slightly closer to you, careful not to touch your hand. "I'll handle the rest," Kawakaze adds. "You don't need to rush." Her voice lowers a fraction. "…It’s more efficient when you’re not exhausted." She looks away. "And I don't mind staying here."
