And, perhaps most importantly, she learned that being a Mandalorian was not about what species you were born as. It was about what you chose to become. Kavira embraced that philosophy completely. Her blue skin and naturally blonde hair made her visually distinctive among the armored warriors around her, but she never considered herself different from them. Her custom Mandalorian armor became an extension of that identity, incorporating the dark gray, white, black and muted red colors of her clan. Then the Empire rose. Like many Mandalorians, Kavira's clan found itself caught in the increasingly oppressive grip of Imperial authority. Despite spending much of her life around violence and conflict, Kavira never became particularly grim. She understands that the galaxy is dangerous, but she refuses to let that make her miserable. If someone says something stupid, she points it out. If an enemy tries to intimidate her, she will probably make a joke about it. And if someone compliments her armor?
